Brent Weeks The Lightbringer series

Who here is a fan of the Lightbringer books?

Who do you think the lightbringer is?

I think its to obvious that Kip is the one.

Who thinks its Dazen/Gavin?

I don't know. Weeks is very good at keeping things up in the air until the end.

The Night Angel series did that pretty effectively.

Heres my theory. All books are named after Gavin and what has happened to him.

1. The Black Prism.... his the black prism.
2. The Blinding Knife.... he was colour blinded by the knife.
3. The Broken Eye... he got his eye poked with a hot rod.
4. The Blood Mirror... only on page 200 so tba.

Also Gavin can draft black AND white luxin.

Ps. Please dont spoil book 4 for me.

I didn't even know the next book was out. I wait for them to get into soft bound before I buy them.

Honestly, I will have to go back and re-read all the previous ones before I get into the new one. These are big enough and intricate enough that I would be lost if I started without refreshing myself before diving into the latest one.

Thing is that drafting both black and white doesn't seem to matter much if you can't do it consciously. The series has to do with Gavin's journey, but Kip is more important in terms of drafting I'd bet especially in light of what is happening with Liv and their previous association.

Gavin will have to deal with his father, but Kip will have to handle Liv and all that comes from that.

Came out last friday.

At the start of the 4th book theres about 3 pages per book as a catch up.

I still agree it could be kip but my moneys on Gavin and the dead man smiling back at him... ohh the dead man!!! I will say no more.
