The point is that it's not monolithic either way and can fluctuate. Sure, its a tool to make predictions but here's no human element in statistics. Even a 5-10% swing makes a difference.

So there was no record turnout, and trump pulled more of the Hispanic vote than anticipated.

I'm thankful I won't have to deliver anymore political ads. Those things were making our lives harder at the USPS. Now time to prepare for the Christmas, yup, I said Christmas, package and card deliveries.

And frankly, neither of the 2 apply in this case as statistics intend to show demographic trends in this context. No differently than by stating "more consumers with disposable income are apt to be using purchasing power in a weak economy"....
