You are right. One is a reality TV star who is not very smart and says racist things. Has actually done racist things. One has years of government experience and has a BIG email problem, but is still intelligent and seems able to not offend every person possible.

Yes, I bet the whole world is laughing at us right now. Our presidential candidates turn democracy into a reality television show and we just let them. Imagine the election as a web page, where every visit generates revenue regardless of whether they leave negative or positive feedback. The corporations are raking in profits because we simply cannot help but feed the circus and keep its wheels spinning. Are we really that naive? No wonder the world laughs. I would be laughing too if I weren't an american...instead i must settle for facepalming and shaking my head at every Facebook post, ATS thread and news headline. Wake me up when 2020 elections come around.
