Why are we seeing so many green meteors? Is it Barium?

Recently I did an OP on a green object traversing the sky of Japan. I then added additional examples of more green objects traversing the skies. Some have explained it away as being a meteor filled with copper. It kind of made sense since Copper oxides have a greenish hue. But we were all wrong. Barium is responsible for (IMHO) this color. From uk.answers.yahoo.com...
B Boron Bright Green
Ba Barium Apple green
Cu(II) Copper(II) (non-halide) Emerald green
Cu(II) Copper(II) (halide) Blue-green (bluish green)
P Phosphorus Pale bluish green
Pb Lead Pale green
Sb Antimony Pale green
Te Tellurium Pale green
Tl Thallium Pure green
Zn Zinc Bluish green
So why so many apple green sightings? Let's take a look at a NASA. www-spof.gsfc.nasa.gov...
"In practice the barium is packed into canisters with copper oxide, and these are released from rockets or satellites and ignited. The resulting chemical reaction produces great heat, but more barium is packed into the canister than can combine chemically, and some the excess is vaporized to form a large spherical greenish cloud. Typically the release is done after sunset or before sunrise, so that while the canisters explode in full sunlight, observers on the ground can watch the cloud against the dark sky: soon a bluish ion cloud separates from the green one, usually elongated or striped in the direction of the magnetic field lines, which guide the ions. Some barium releases are conducted far from Earth and are tracked by telescopes. The AMPTE mission (Active Magnetospheric Particle Tracer Experiment). it released a barium cloud in the solar wind to produce an "artificial comet". Soon after the cloud formed, the magnetic field embedded in the solar wind picked it and made it share the wind's flow, a process similar to the one which creates the ion tails of comets." Whisky Tango Foxtrot! Now for a different perspective we have this.
From an unverified source, this info was given to Rense.com. www.rense.com...
"secretive project is the United States Navy's, RFMP, Radio Frequency Mission Planner, military program. The RFMP is the system name given to a group of computer programs and one of the supporting, subprograms within the RFMP system is called the VTRPE computer program. VTRPE is an acronym that stands for Variable Terrain Radio Parabolic Equation, It is a computer Radio Frequency propagation program that deals with radio waves and enables the RFMP system to visually see the battlefield terrain in 3 dimensions (3-D) on a television screen. The VTRPE computer program only worked accurately over water and along coastal areas but not over land masses because the system's radar waves required an atmospheric condition known as "ducting", over land, to operate accurately. The government and military solved the "ducting" problem by releasing an aerosol, a mixture of barium salts into the atmosphere over America. They made an atmospheric RF duct with a base of barium aerosol from aircraft. The chemical and electrical characterics(sic) of the mixture will cause water moisture to stay in clouds. " Again WTF! Is this the answer to chemtrails?
The Activist Post states this," For about 20 years now, the people running the New Manhattan Project have been saturating our atmosphere and forcing us to ingest the witches’ brew coming out of the back of their airplanes. It is not normal jet engine exhaust. the most common chemtrail sprays have been found to consist of aluminum, barium and strontium in that order. Probably hundreds of times, lab tests from around the world have confirmed this. If you do not know what the New Manhattan Project is, please see the author’s previous article “Chemtrails Exposed: A History of the New Manhattan Project.” www.activistpost.com...
The Activist Post goes on to say that Rainwater sample test results from Europe and America showing elevated levels of aluminum, barium and strontium have been compiled at GeoEngineeringWatch.org and ChemtrailsProjectUK.com. Many other test results can be found at GlobalSkywatch.com.
Green meteors. Is this the answer?

No. It's copper.

No its not copper its nickel .

Reported colors range across the spectrum, from red to bright blue, and (rarely) violet. The dominant composition of a meteoroid can play an important part in the observed colors of a fireball, with certain elements displaying signature colors when vaporized. For example, sodium produces a bright yellow color, nickel shows as green, and magnesium as blue-white. The velocity of the meteor also plays an important role, since a higher level of kinetic energy will intensify certain colors compared to others. Among fainter objects, it seems to be reported that slow meteors are red or orange, while fast meteors frequently have a blue color, but for fireballs the situation seems more complex than that, but perhaps only because of the curiosities of color vision as mentioned above.

ask the right people (American Meteor Society)and you get the right answer.

check your sources people Yahoo Answers and sites with non experts are seldom right most of the time.

Copper is NOT the only element that burns green. As above:B Boron Bright Green
Ba Barium Apple green
Cu(II) Copper(II) (non-halide) Emerald green
Cu(II) Copper(II) (halide) Blue-green (bluish green)
P Phosphorus Pale bluish green
Pb Lead Pale green
Sb Antimony Pale green
Te Tellurium Pale green
Tl Thallium Pure green
Zn Zinc Bluish green

Obviously, you know more than the collective scientists around the world.

Boron is again noted here. www.scientificamerican.com...
Although the links above show Barium emitting green light, it is not alone.
In my O.P.(Opening Post) I have displayed a theory on why we have been seeing so many green objects in the sky. The experiments done by NASA and the Air force have been using BARIUM, not Boron,Cu(II) Copper(II) (non-halide), Cu(II) Copper(II) (halide), Phosphorus, Lead, Antimony, Tellurium, Thallium, or Zinc.
Now, please post your links to sources, or have a seat.

Considering there's no such things as "chemtrails", I think that makes your thread kind of redundant.

Unless you have actual evidence of "chemtrails"?

From an unverified source
Indeed. An unverified source which speaks nonsense.

VTRPE is a computer model for radar systems. RFMP is a computer model for radio communications. They do not "work together" and neither provides 3-D visualization of a battlefield.

The experiments done by NASA and the Air force have been using BARIUM,
Yes. Deployed by rockets. In the ionosphere.

The division on what to believe and not to believe is akin to UFO's and Clinton vs Trump.
It will not be settled here.

So the whole basis of your argument can't be discussed because you have zero evidence of "chemtrails"?

First you need evidence that "chemtrails" exist to use them as a theory for why meteors are a specific colour. Otherwise it's just as plausible it could be unicorn farts.

So what, if anyone can answer... burns green?

So i must ask. Why are you persistent in the matter. I've seen many green bolides over the years. What was i missing?

VTRP is more than a computer model for radar systems.
Why then discussion on “terrain models” out on the Arizona desert? www.researchgate.net...'s_Guide_for_the_VTRPE_Variable_Terrain_Radio_Parabolic_Equation_Computer_Model

No Bigburgh, sometimes we make a mistake. No big deal for me.
However, it seems that this program has been going on for over a decade.
When I was stationed at Edwards AFB (2006-2007), I thought I did an OP on NOAA chemtrails (it involved Barium residue that was found in southern CA with links provided to NOAA). I tried looking back in my OP's but I can only go as far back as 2009.

Copper arsenate is also green and the combination is actually common in some type of meteors.

Saw an absolute "ball tearer" of a meteorite last night coming home from work, it was large enough to slow down and cool off before my eyes and was a greenish blue before it lost its colour. It definitely hit the ground and I guess it was about the size of a basketball and probably landed a few hundred metres off shore from were i live in Western Australia.

Green meteors are not at all uncommon.

You look up bolide meteors on YouTube, and I would guess that at least a third of the videos you will see, will be of meteors lit up green or off green.
