This is how it will go down.

"I choose violence".

It was Thomas Jefferson, I think, that said...

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure,”

We keep doing it as often as it takes to get it right. I know, easier said than done.

I'm familiar with the quote having used it a few times myself. I'm not against it, however, I'm not ready to go down that route just yet.

Given the newest revelations and rumors I may be swayed in the very near future.

1) How much is shipping to the UK?

2) How long does it take?

3) How long will a taco keep in the right packaging.

This information needs to me acquired with haste.

That's the point I'm trying to walk around. How many American soldiers would fire upon revolutionists if they are labeled terrorists? Would we be inviting the UN onto our soil by doing so?

Think about that. It is very important before you grab your arms and make brash decisions.

Neither am I.

I may never be. To call it a huge step would be to understate it substantially. ...and once taken, there's no turning back. It's win or die, or wish you had.

Exactly.

Unify the populous. That would be step one. Once this is achieved, I see that as a huge step in righting our government. Step two, congressional term limits.

I could see states leaving the union before a full revolution happens...mini state revolutions maybe.

That's how I usually see it, too.

There's too much diversity/differences between regions for one "revolution" to take hold in a nation this large. I think it would be a "balkanization", though without the hostility. More a mutual parting of ways...some might even, at a later date, come back together in an alliance of some sort.

Robert Heinlein wrote a book that featured just such a north america...it was called Friday. Personally, I think it'd make a great movie.

Friday.

Not his best, but it's an interesting look into what would be a rather dystopian future...

Dandy movie material though...

...and--totally off topic. Sorry.

I love talking with people who have traditionally ignored the notion of conspiracy theories, at this point they are conceeding that there is a lot more to it than simple tinfoil!

Granted there are the die hard Clintoniites who declare that it is simply a 30 year old republican conspiracy theory, but even they are having a difficult time maintaining that line.

I too feel that she is going to be indicted, along with the whole damn network.

Honestly I feel that this is going to take a whole lot of people down, right now it is a matter of those who are truly at the top to deciding who to send to the slaughter.

Those close to the slaughtered will remember the butchers' addresses.
Count on it. The USA is feeling just the first wave of imperialism.
And it's hard to believe I was once almost a Rockefellian Republican.

But for God's sake Grove let's also hope the USA can retain a memory
of pain. We ain't seen nothin' yet.
One of my oldest friends said to me a third of a lifetime ago---
"It's impossible for the human mind to remember pain."
derf replied simply "I'd monitor that closely, Bob.. because you
may be subliminally shopping around for some more." He got some.

I'm not entirely convinced anything will be done on the legal end at all. The way things have "progressed" thus far, it's striking me as a slow-mo song & dance to placate the people. Dangling just enough out there to keep said placated people happy rubbing their hands in anticipation (and judging by responses, it worked)

Basically, I'll believe judicial hulksmash when I see it. Until then, they're stalling.

If Trump would be elected, he will step down immediately and let his vice rule, right?

Right?
