I don't believe this story. It would be political suicide for Hillary if Lynch shut it down or tried to do it. That kind of stuff really upsets people enough for them to change their vote or just get off their couch for once and vote. It would be one of the biggest political mistakes of all time.

It actually substantiates a theory I posted earlier this week.

I think that the FBI was so strangled by the DOJ, that they were desperate.
The Weiner bust shows definite signs that it was a sting, not a real child.
They knew of his addiction, and used it to get to evidence they suspected might be in Abedin's home.
She was not voluntarily giving it up.
With the DOJ so corrupt, even if the FBI could get a warrant, it would have been leaked to Huma so she could destroy or remove evidence.

They could not reveal the sting or reveal their methods, so they leaked the chat to a tabloid.
This report gave them a reason to get a warrant to get into Weiner's home and confiscate all devices.

They then could see what they had with the Weiner warrant, and justify a warrant in the Clinton case if evidence was found.

And according to this article, its not even the classified emails they want.
Their bigger issue is the Clinton Foundation corruption.
They were shut down by the DOJ and the NY FBI that was under Lynch's control, so they got the Weiner sting in the jurisdiction of the Southern NYPD, who have a prosecutor known for fighting political corruption.

The FBI - pure genius.
The FBI was frustrated about not being able to do anything about Clinton.
I'm not sure if it was Preet Bharara's idea, or if the Washington FBI enlisted his help after the DOJ had squashed Comey.
But, I have a strong feeling that this is how it went down.

So you think Weiner was the weakest link and they used his vice as leverage till he broke. Pretty good theory. I'll add that by having the information flow upstream so to speak from the NYPD to the FBI, such a wider chance of the information being proliferated and possibly leaked which would be exactly what an oppressed FBI would want.

Time will tell.

Exactly! The NYPD will not let it get shut down.

I think that since the beginning Comey has wanted to do the right thing.
Lynch and Clinton were furious about what he said at the press conference this summer. Reports are that he was given a statement to read, and he refused.
He was under tremendous pressure and had no choice but to say no intent and to not recommend indictment, but he went rogue when he revealed as much as he could about the findings.
This gave Congress and the public something to work with.

If he had just read a statement with no information, the case would have been shut down right then and there by the DOJ and we would know nothing. They would have said "innocent", and that's that.
Comey cleared showed she was not innocent.
If he would have recommended indictment, the DOJ would have still shut it down with the same results, and he could not have said anything further.

The timing of the Weiner bust is WAY too coincidental.
I'm sure they used his weakness to get to Huma in a roundabout way. Right around the DOJ

Nothing will ever come of this, because..

A) many others had their own servers and none of them are being investigated..

B) NO ONE is actually claiming there was criminal activity..just hinting at it and saying that there is the appearance of corruption.

I'm assuming Comey knew they couldn't go after clinton for what bush and Powell did too.

Y'all gotta think insider trading and such are legal for our dirtbag politicians..they don't have to break the law to cheat..politicians generations ago made it legal for them to do so..

The system is horribly broken and hillary is a creature of that system. However she is NOT more broken or corrupt than the average politician from either side..

So it's the hight of propaganda to pretend she is the most corrupt ever.

In fact she is by far the farthest right dem the GOP could hope for...which goes for trump as well. He is far more left wing than any other republican that ran.


And the talking heads know all this stuff. That's why they won't call her acts crimes..they just use unspecific words eluding to corruption.

funny i've been watch fox the whole time we were fixing dinner the past two hours, and all they talked about was the the pay for play investigation and the emails investigation. that were found from state.gov that were from mills and the other woman who's computers were thought to be destroyed, but were in FBI possession in DC. both on Special Report and On the Record.

Remember though, Lynch supposedly de facto recused herself after her meeting on the tarmac with Bill.

Keep in mind there are two investigations going on. There is the Comey investigation into the emails we all know about, and there is a separate investigation into the Clinton foundation and the pay for play accusations.

Think of how slimy Lynch is being here. Aftre being caught on the tarmac out of pure luck by a local reporter, she was on the spot and said she would accept the FBI's recommendation on their investigation.

All the while she knew that she and her department were continuing to stall the Clinton foundation investigation. If she felt the meeting on the tarmac was reason enough step aside from the Comey investigation, why not the Clinton Foundation one, especially since Bill was a target in it?

Further more, how dare Lynch or anyone in the DOJ now criticize Comey for announcing the investigation was reopened. She said she would leave in it Comeys hands. So she now needs to shut her mouth.

I have been saying it for a while now, but this is perhaps the biggest political situation in my lifetime. Even if you like Hillary and hate Trump, this story should absolutely appall you. This is proof of the DOJ being a political entity, willingly coverup potentially enormous crimes to help their team win elections.

When the investigators turn into corrupt tools of the leaders of the country, the people do not have a voice. We all need to condemn this corruption no matter what arec political ideologies are.

Lynch shutting them down is not something that just happened, so it would not be prime news tonight, but it actually was mentioned tonight multiple times on TV news.
The corruption of the DOJ was a major part of Hannity tonight.
Lynch has been stalling and telling them to stop investigating for a long time now.
