Open letter trashing Comey was penned by Clinton campaign

On Sunday, we saw circulating an "open letter" from former federal prosecutors and high-ranking DOJ officials which blasted Comey for his decision to announce that he was re-opening the Clinton investigation right before the election. Hillary posted a copy of this letter to her website:

Sunday, as reported by the Associated Press, a group of nearly 100 former federal prosecutors and high-ranking DOJ officials from both Democratic and Republican administrations, including former AG Eric Holder and former Deputy AG Larry Thompson, issued the following joint letter expressing serious concerns over FBI Director Comey's departure from long-standing department protocols:

As former federal prosecutors and high-ranking officials of the U.S. Department of Justice, we know that the impartiality and nonpartisanship of the United States justice system makes it exceptional throughout the world. To maintain fairness and neutrality, federal law enforcement officials must exercise discipline whenever they make public statements in connection with an ongoing investigation. Often, evidence uncovered during the course of an investigative inquiry is incomplete, misleading or even incorrect, and releasing such information before all of the facts are known and tested in a court of law can unfairly prejudice individuals and undermine the public’s faith in the integrity of our legal process.

It then continues on to essentially trash Comey's decision to re-open, and several MSM sites have publicized the letter and waived it over Comey's head as though he should be ashamed of himself. However, what the media doesn't seem to be telling us is that Hillary's campaign started doing damage control almost immediately and was actually responsible for drafting the letter's content and circulating it for these signatures. We knew the spin campaign would be in full force and effect. How much did she have to pay each of these people to get their sign-off for this bogus letter?

I don't think Comey is the one to blame for any wrongdoing. He is only being transparent and forthright by informing the relevant committees that they found more emails on another device that needed to be investigated, and they may connect with Hillary's server at some point.

Imagine what would of happened if it was found that the FBI was digging in to the server again, after he had already recommended no charges. The fallout from that would have been devastating for the FBI and Comey.

So I think he is doing the right thing.

On the other hand, the media and groups of people in this country are blowing this way out of proportion. After such a let-down for the anti-Hillary crowd when Comey did not recommended indictment, this new email issue has caused them to go full retard.

What information regarding the investigation was released by the FBI beyond the announcement that it was being re-opened? Will this prove to be one more incidence of disingenuous actions to obfuscate the nefarious undertakings that are rapidly piling up, and another attempt to intimidate and discredit those who might uncover the truth.
