Realistically all you're going to get is a lame duck president if he wins; little to nothing, especially the sweeping reforms to this government are going to pass because they have to be passed by said government, little of which supports him.

Nothing is going to change, I'll keep enjoying watching the hypocritical blame game being played for the next 4 years regardless of who wins.

Thanks for playing, house wins again.

On the contrary, I think "the house" is under attack, which would explain the most disgusting, horrendous propaganda that I've ever seen being conducted against one presidential candidate. Actually, I would compare it to what was going on in the UK previous to the Brexit vote. Those who hold power are scared, big time.

But, I am also curious to find out on what exactly do you base your opinion that Trump's just another puppet?

Where in my post do you see the word puppet?

Ah, the perception of Trump supporters. Yeah, some anti Trump threads actually make their way there because all of ATS hasn't lost it's mind but you'd be a liar if you were to try and convince me that ATS is a left wing Trump hating website. Even now it continues to be dominated by the right wing. So sorry that news of Trump being a sexual predator came to light, I know it bothers you guys but just because you embrace him doesn't mean you can turn a blind eye to his obvious short comings and illegal activities.

For a group who hates Clinton because she's corrupt it's amazing you guys support Trump, as if he isn't corrupt himself. As if he, if elected, won't be as corrupt as Clinton. And with about a week to go before the election he still hasn't released his tax returns which screams that he's hiding something. Hiding things and corruption go hand in hand.

Your posts give the lie to your high opinion of your own intellect. Trump supporters don't believe he is not corrupt, but they understand that he is a great deal less corrupt than Clinton and therefore less dangerous to the country and its people.

It truly amazes me, how you talk about someone being ignorant, but at the same, time, being totally blind as to what's being done to Trump, by your bias mainstream media. If you don't see anything strange with 11 woman coming out from the dark after 10-20 years, two weeks before the elections, claiming they had been sexually assaulted by mister Trump, while providing absolutely zero proof, then I don't know what to tell you.

Can you prove any of your allegations against mister Trump? And if you can, try to do it in a civil manner, with proof, without screaming how's he just as bad as Hillary Clinton, and when asked why, your response is usually "just is".

And I assure you, if he was hiding something, there's no way in hell the people who control everything and have access to any information they want, wouldn't leak it to the public.

Bruh . This video Is NOT about Left or Right . Its about the current state of our government and how we the people can fix that with a vote . But in order to do that one would have to sacrifice his political ideology and vote for a man who's only goal is to fix our country ! Like he said in the Video He built great companies and had a great life , he didn't have to do this ,didn't have to run for president but he wants to give back to a country who has given him so much . He wants to restore America ! Now stop being so selfish ! and do something for your country ! Take it back !

make america great again!

I don't want to vote Trump really, but IMO Johnson has too many bad ideas and isn't on his game. Besides, the other 3rd party candidates don't stand a snowball's chance, and I won't throw away my vote this time around. Hillary must not become the President IMO, so I'll have to go with the Donald.

I agree with eNumbra on this point,

To me, from that perspective, a lame duck Donald (he, he, he) would be a good alternative to a full on Hillary.

ETA: On the other hand Hillary will probably be busy in court and constantly under a microscope if she wins, so she may not get anything done too quickly either.

If I were with an anti-Clinton PAC or SuperPAC in the USA, I would grab ahold of the Trump material in that Anonymous video exactly as Anonymous presented the audio and with some more professional visuals I would then be buying time everywhere and run that 5 minute spot again and again and again.

With that sentence I think you have captured, what for many, is the crux of peoples opinion and their voting choices in this election.

Well played Sir/Madam.

To me, from that perspective, a lame duck Donald (he, he, he) would be a good alternative to a full on Hillary.

Trumps rhetoric holds just as much credibility as Hillary's. They're both liars.

I have yet to understand why this forum over the years in general has moved into a direction of right wing bias, instead of equally critiquing things.... It's beyond me.

I've seen more Hillary posts than Trumps, which is concerning considering NEITHER are fit to be president.

You guys talk about hating the establishment, but would rather pick from those 2 fools than someone whos been fighting that cause since the beginning... *cough* Bernie Sanders *cough*..... And All because of that stigma from the word "socialist"

Hillary looks into a supporters face and lies right to it when asked about emails, and Trump does the same when asked about bringing back manufacturing jobs- despite his brand named ties being made in china....

Sanders is not an election choice and voters have to vote based on who they consider will be better for the nation and its people. I will give you odds that those voting for Trump will be proven to have chosen wisely if the Granny Basket Case gets elected. a reply to: clt1994

"Sanders is not an election choice"

No kidding sanders isn't an election choice, you americans were too foolish and failed to get him in power.

" I will give you odds that those voting for Trump will be proven to have chosen wisely if the Granny Basket Case gets elected."

Well I'll take evidence and cold hard facts about hypocrisies of both, as previously posted over odds anyday. Both are equally trash, but at least hillary can be pushed more to the progressive left, while trump refuses to coexist and budge to any suggestion no matter how logical it is.... This is the man who sued The Onion keep in mind.

Mister Donald j. Trump started something extraordinary. He may not win now, but there's no doubt in my mind, what he started will impact the world pretty soon.

He didn't start anything. The arab springs probably had more to do with it. Even occupy wall st. and the tea party had more to do with it than Trump.

Trump is the pacifier for those wanting a revolution but too comfortable to actually fight.

I am not an American but I'm sure the subscribers to this thread that are will have taken note of your assumption and insulting their intelligence. This probably goes some way to explaining your rather low star to post ratio. Do you truly believe that a cold hearted soulless and power hungry virago that has only ever been a college kid, a lawyer, and a politician understand or cares about the daily issues ordinary people face? Many would no doubt consider it foolish to believe anyone other than her wealthy backers are capable of exerting any influence over Clinton and are much to polite to put it in those terms.

Kind regards.

That last statement is a very interesting take on this election, I had not thought about it in those terms. I think you are on to something that deserves further exploration.

Oh really? Foolish failures you say?

I saw the Americans who liked Bernie do everything they could to get him elected, they were pouring their hearts out and making an appearance in order to show their strong support.

It was Hillary and the corrupt people behind the scenes that weaseled their way in front of Bernie and cheated him out of this election.

Like you I took Donald as a joke at first. I was not even going to vote because I was so disgusted with our ONE party system.

Then all the protests against Trump started, with all the vile and criminal behavior of the anti Trump crowd.
I decided then I would vote for Trump just to piss off the anti Trump crowd.

Trump has evolved as a leader over the past few months, my vote is no longer being cast to just piss people off nor is it just against Hillary.

I may be wrong, but I will err on the side of freedom.

We know the absolute corruption and Corporate Oligarchy that comes with Hillary.

Time to drain the cesspool that is Washington DC Mr Trump.

That's fair. However it's also fair for someone to have an opposing viewpoint.

In this case, many (myself included) aren't worried about "comparing corruption to see who is worse," when they're both pretty bad.

It reminds me of the lesser of two evils that reigned surpreme over Obummer and Moneybags.

It's like people don't care that corruption exists, "because he's not near as corrupt as the other guy," which not only admits to one partaking in corruption but it also excuses it "because someone else did it."

And round and round on the merry-go-round do we go.
