1) We don't need to continue to be so dependent on fossil fuels.

2) It costs us more in tax dollars to clean up spills and these pipelines don't have a great track record.

It seems the company has been less than transparent with the plans that were given to US army in the first place. Second, it seems the pipeline will go over water that is protected by the tribes, and apparently even some other officials have concerns about contamination of the water. So where or how the literally, army of PC plods came into it now must be some other function of law...(like the ejits division) you can read about it here,

So law enforcement cleared camps set up specifically to block construction and left the camp that was set up in a lawful area alone. Imagine that.

When a cop shows up to remove you from an area, you're going to be removed. Use all the rhetoric and buzzwords you want, but resisting the removal will be met with an increased level of force until the resistance is overcome and the removal effected.

Ugh....your post gives me chills.....does it even matter at all to these cops that the construction itself may not be legal ? Until this matter has been settled all construction should be halted ! It makes me furious there has been such a media block on this and my heart goes out to all the brave souls willing to stand against this injustice.

Yes, and if my house laid in the way of that pipe, I would be screwed too. I know progress needs to be made, but when private property rights are taken some serious $$$ needs to be exchanged.
