Saw this on the news last night (here in Anchorage).

It looks really neat! And calling it a "sea monster" or even a "giant fish" is a stretch. In the end, debris floating in the river being moved by the currents.

Been down the Chena in a canoe back in the day. Occasional salmon in the deep parts and a grayling or two. Nothing that big. Now if it was hanging out near the electric company near the warm spot that would be another thing.

It is not a "fake" video. It is a real video. But not of a cryptid.

don't really think it is any kind of debris, or anything man made or a hoax.

for the simple fact that if you look you can see some sort of appendage be it a fin or leg break and cause swirls in the water near what i would say is the head a couple of times and you can just see it below the suface a couple of time when it does it.

plus the movement matches what you see other types of fish, or water creatures have.

I started the thread, but don't always go on my computer and for the last year I haven't been able to log in to ATS on my phone. I can be slow to respond at times. I am pretty sure this is a Sturgeon. It was kind of cool and I just wanted to post it.
