How's things at home?

It's been ages since we were both on at the same time!!!

I don't get a cold very often.... but when I do.... I get a "proper" one!!! ROFL


PS - On the plus side... I do currently sound a bit like Barry White when I talk or try and sing!!!

"Proper" colds count.

We're doing okay. My Wife is about the same, which is good news as it means she is not getting worse. In some ways, she is actually better.

I'm still slowly getting things organized for our eventual move but it's a slow process. But we'll get there.

ETA: typing in short bursts because I have very patchy internet right now. Been bad for the past week or so. But so glad to be able to just see the posts here and even respond at times. Missed you all, more than I can express.

and a rather nice Speyside Single Malt called "Tamnavulin" which IS NICE!

I know the Famous Grouse. Not a bad drop. Don't know the Tamnavulin, but it sounds good! If a Scot says a Scotch Whisky is "nice" it means it's better than decent. One of the best I ever had was a 12-y-o Glenifiddich single malt that had been sitting on the top shelf of a country bottle shop in Sth Oz for "about 20 years" (according to the shop's owner). Bought it absurdly cheap (at sticker price) and it was gloriously good.

Be glad to give D a hug from you. Still hoping to do a trip to your neck of the woods next year maybe, and meet up. Dada's never been to Scotland and after I told her about it (especially the Highlands), she wants to go and see it for herself. So, it's on our bucket list, along with visiting the USA and some of its more beautiful places.

I roasted up some wonderful coffee beans this morning. I did a mixture of Columbia Narino La Union, Pedregal, Kenya Nyen AB Gaturin,and Ethiopia Sidama Deri Cochoha. Wow! There all kinds of flavors in this brew! The flavor profiles include, Honey, toffee, butterscotch, lemmon, floral black current, caramel, malt apricot , nectarine, bosc pear,apple, green grape, and sweet citrus.

I encourage each of you to try your hand at home roasting. Green beans are priced very reasonable. They can be roasted in a pan or a whirly pop outdoors. Sweet Marias is a great vendor of green beans from throughout the planet.
