Good Morning Shed.
(I say as I sluff off to the kitchen for a mug of Hot Coffee...)
Oh wow. Who's got the Dragon Breath. Oh Yah. That would be Me...


Skid, since You had asked, The Shed here is almost done. Still waiting for the company who put together the kit I used to send Me some parts that were missing. Will relate that sometime. Just suffice it to say I am still pissed off. Incompetence seems to abound in the workplace anymore...

I'll get a pic or two of it today, if I remember to do that... The plan is to get it finished with What I do have for parts today. But usually when I plan something, it falls apart... So usually We try to just 'Wing-It!", instead of making actual plans...

Oh and about the vid you posted; Girl with Her head stuck in the pumpkin, What a RIOT!!! OMFG That was so Funny!!! Struck Me as a blonde moment perhaps when She had first stuck Her head in, and was caught by Her forehead and back of Her head, then She puts Her head in all the way!!? I was like WTF?!? LMAO!!!

But that kid was so distracting with His BellyButton song I wanted to reach into My monitor and slap Him!!!

Having just sat down this morning with My Coffee, I clicked to open this and laughed till tears were flowing! I don't know, maybe it was 'cause I was still tired or something, but I laughed so loud, I am surprised I didn't wake CC, down the hall. I watched it a few times and it was funny as heck every time!!!

Hey bro. I am missing like 5 boards all together. Working on a visual to show You. Will make the explanation easier... Few minutes I will have that posted...

What sucks maybe even MORE is the fact that I called about 4 missing pieces a couple weeks ago. Little more than that actually. Then after NOT getting the stuff when it should've been here, I call back and they said they have NO RECORDS of any call from Me, or an order to get those parts to me!! I was like WTF?!?!? Incompetent fools.... Man... I'm Still steamed about this mess!!!!!!

This is My Shed. Well an internet image of it.


On the left and right of the Horizontal Tan Trim Board on front, are the two tan trim's that angle away from it. Missing were the Two angled Trim's on front, and the two on the back. So 4 Trim's all together.


Missing are the circled items. For the Front AND back. So four all together.

PLUS last night I discovered I am missing a board for the inside. It ties the bottom of one of the roof Truss's together. It is same length and position as the Horizontal Tan Trim Board that is shown here, above the Doors on the front of The Shed. Gets put inside though...

Ummm, that's an internet picture from the manufacturers website. Mine is like tan colored so far. It is still the way I got it, when they delivered the parts. I just put together the parts from them. Well most of it is together now, and it is almost all roofed. Few more rows of shingles to go. Then whenever they decide to ship me the parts that were missing when they first dropped off the kit here, I will get them installed. Then we will paint it....

Has been a chore for Me doing most of it alone. Some help from My brother in law here and there... It is ten feet by ten feet, about that high too with a loft inside... Will be cool when it is all done...

Hey now...i helped too...lol...and jer and wes...i know how you are you dont like others helping you out at times...as you always want it done right and i dont blame you i would to..but you so needed help cause there was days you really couldnt do it cause of your back..that is why its taken so long to get done..and the weather today so messed up what we was going to do...man i so want to get this done and the stuff put in there...and thats when i will need help as i have to look in side all the totes to see what is want..and my holiday stuff i would like up on the loft..and the things that need to be gone through by the back stairs..so i need to work on my room so that stuff can come in..so in a few more minutes that is what i am going to be doing..what are you going to be doing...love ya..

And those guys did me a big favor the day we stood up all the walls.
But mostly was Me doin all that crap... help is help but I dont see half hour that day, and bout the same on another day with Jer that much help. Granted it did take some of the work off of Me so...

And Yah. It's cold and sucky out there today but I'm heading out soon to get a little more finished... Love Ya too...

Well, I'm a very chuffed poppa bear today!

My boy Callum just started his very first camp-fire from scratch without matches/lighter or any artificial assistance (other than his trusty fire-steel and home-made charcloth!) ***applause***

It's a very important "survival" skill IMHO.

It took him a few attempts, but he stuck at it and you should have seen his face BEAMING when he succeeded!
He then repeated it a few times, getting quicker each time!!

Brilliant!!

I finished off the session by letting have a go at starting the char-cloth by using my old magnifying glass to focus the mild Autumnal sunshine... and he did it 1st attempt!!

It's like a "right of passage"!! He's growing up so fast just now.
