Excerpt

I’ve been trying to figure out what common trait binds Clinton supporters together. As far as I can tell, the most unifying characteristic is a willingness to bully in all its forms.

If you have a Trump sign in your lawn, they will steal it.

If you have a Trump bumper sticker, they will deface your car.

if you speak of Trump at work you could get fired.

We also know Clinton’s side hired paid trolls to bully online. You don’t hear much about that.

I want to address that last line, what I find very odd is that ATS was all in on Ron Paul, now there seems to be many Hillary supporters here.

I want to ask a really honest question to all current posting ATS members, has our memberships political perspectives changed that drastically, in four years, or is something else going on here, and you know what I am talking about.

They are the real world agent smiths from the matrix. Blank slates to be filled by an agent of control for the system meant to enslave.

I feel nothing for them if they are staunch supporters. Hell, I dont even feel as strongly about Trump. He is just another man. One I want to see become president, but a mortal man with flaws like the rest.

Hillary supporters of the blindest kind are not my people, not my friends and not my kind.

They could all go either way and I would not care. They have become something we have seen throughout history, and I hate it to its putrid core.

America has gone SOFT . I remember a Time in this Country when a Group of Any Affiliation who tried to Intimidate or Scare someone over their Right of Personal Opinions , their Like Minded Friends would come to their Aid and " Face Down " the Bully . WTF Happened Today America >?.....

ATS is a comforting break from what's going on in the major social media...

The T&C's are in place to keep the vitriol and straight hate to a minimum... and it isn't biased....

The same cannot be said, on FB (i have heard) Twitter & You Tube (I have witnessed in realtime)....

Be thankful that ATS is still a place that shows no favoritism to any side of politics...

As long as we stay within the T&Cs... we can voice our opinion...

It all started when they started by calling certain folks hyperactive.. pre Add and adhd. Then the political correctness. Then hypocritical groupthink was thought to be progressive. Then ANYTHING against the groupthink herds was called racist, mysogynist, every ist you can think of and you get lumped in it. If youre weak, youre scared to carry a label put on you by deranged folks who bully others. and for Gods sake, dont do anything that "triggers" anyone.. or whatever you get, you asked for. You also may not even THINK or have an OPINION that differs from this group. I think its group insanity.

BUT Nietzsche said it BEST :
In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule.

Me, I dont give one good damn what someone thinks. Be cool and awesome like me.

Americans are so oppressed, confused and divided, that a CIVIL WAR could easily ensue, if Hillary wins. I don't see a lot of Hillary supporters say that they HATE Donald Trump. But this forum, and many other online discussion platforms, are filled with people voicing absolute hatred of Hillary Clinton and/or her "vision" for America.

Maybe this is why Hillary is reducing her number of public appearances between now and November 9th. If she wins, I hope Hillary will be assigned a full Secret Service protection detail on that day, going forward.

I also support Trump to oppose the bullying and violence, but it's easy to do because he is a better candidate than any of the ivy-league lawyer types that have been in office for decades.

The Infallible Queen and her supporters must do everything so She may rule in perfection in all that She does....

As a perfect Queen, Hillary's acolytes are called by the Deus of her infallibility to subvert and destroy all who would dare question her right to rule in purity and divinity in all things...

Ours is but a small role in the larger scope of her inevitable creation of a utopic empire void of corruption and bereft of villainy...

Go to work minions: destroy the pagans who do not see her glory...meet them at their homes, their jobs, their schools and meet them with a hand outstretched and a balled fist at the ready to strike down their hate with our lovely reductionism(read violence)...non-believers are to be erased from existence...

For She is great in all things and long live the Infallibe Queen...

I'm a Hillary supporter and I don't do any of those things. I like ATS because I always learn something from other members who seem more intelligent than most places.

Right.

My neighbor in my 4 unit apartment has a Trump placard on hi stair railing.

He has no idea I will vote for Hillary. And he never will,

For me, the real change is that liberals and Democrats are speaking up more often and posting more articles (not so much op-ed, though.) During Obama's first run, I don't recall many speaking up in his favor although I know a number of us voted for him. Same with his reelection.

We've always been here. For me, I'm fed up with Trump and if I can find a news article that I think is well researched and highlights some of his obvious character flaws, I'll post it.

I save the more virulent ones for my Facebook feed, though.

The Latinos, Blacks, Asians, women, Muslims, Jews, and LGBT folks (etc) got tired of being soft and decided to come to the aid of THEIR like-minded friends.

I think the people who are paying attention know exactly what's going on, just look at ATS stats.

Hundreds of ghost accounts made in the past few weeks, pro-Clinton/anti-Trump posts instantly being upvoted 15+ stars with not even 3 comments on the thread. The front page is looking more like a tabloid every day.

As for people flipping from Ron Paul to Clinton, only this image comes to mind.

Look at the options on the table Blue_Jay33.

Ron Paul as a candidate had an awful lot to recommend him to the electorate. He wanted the federal reserve to be audited, he wanted to equalise a broken system, bring the troops home from wars which were illegal and served only to inflate the wealth of the owners of the nation, rather than protect its citizens or its soil... He is a good man, with some good ideas, for all that they are informed by a slightly different point of view than my own. His voting record, while you might not always have agreed with his calls, was at least consistent in the extreme. Oddly enough, in that particular regard, he has an awful lot in common with Mr Bernie Sanders.

Ron Paul has NOTHING in common with Donald Trump. The reason I say that is that Mr Trump is an extremist. He is not a rational man, not composed, collected, calm, experienced in matters requiring deep thought, not a man of letters, words, or any other claim to intellect. He is a one man housing bubble, a man who collapses lives and investments as readily as he fortifies his own nest. Ron Paul on the other hand, is a man who has integrity, moral conviction, a man who is a deep thinker, he is fair and large minded, not petty and small minded. Ron Paul is, to summarise, a better man. If Mr Paul (not his idiot son) had been running in this election against Hilary Clinton, he would have smoked her like a salmon, and eaten her for breakfast, because between him and either Trump or Hilary, there is a massive gulf of decency and integrity, and anyone who hears him speak knows this.

But faced with the monstrosity of Trump, I am not at all surprised that there are those who would ordinarily have sided with the Republican or Libertarian candidate, who will not be voting for him. I would be shocked if any voters who are switched on and aware of themselves or the reality that a Trump presidency would present, vote for anyone other than Stein or Johnson, despite the obvious issues with that situation, rather than vote for either Trump or Hilary.
