All you, its my body, don't tell me what to do, I can quit anytime, I'm a light smoker.

I finally quit because it was killing me. I don't need to deny that, now.

You'll quit too when the pain becomes too great. Maybe that will be when you're dying too.

Too late then.

Speaking of horror clowns and our own "effects" here, I dare one to try to scare me, I´ll shove him his axe where the sun does not shine. Because when it comes to that, they´re all whiney little sobs believe me.

Im so totally with you on that. The thing that pisses me off about that mostly, is the fact that they dont put a word of warning on alcohol, instead, its pretty and cool looking bottles, some look like soft drinks even, really attractive for youngsters.
And here, they put those nasty pictures right next to the candy at the check out, where kids can see it. Horrific.

LOL yes the first time I saw that, I thought "why do they put a pic of an anus on cigarettes???"

And I smoke the organic tobacco too and it makes a huge difference. And I'm convinced those additives, perfume, moisturizers and all the other crap they add, is the real danger.

The "stupid" shock pictures you and others have described seem different to the one's here in the UK, yes we do have stupid shock pictures but i have never seen what has been described, is there a "Standard" that decides what and what can't be shown? Are different countries using different tactics / shock techniques?

I know in the UK, next year, we go to standard "Plain" packaging so brands can't be distinguished by first glance.

Perhaps we should start a photo library of stupid shock pictures to see the differences between countries?

true words but honestly, it´s my life. I can understand it to not smoke in restaurants (I don´t like it either if I eat and someone lights a cigarette) and I take caution to not annoy others when I seldom smoke in public, I do it in designated areas.

The warnings and pictures already take 2/3 of every side of the package and on tabacco bags, even on the inside. It´s what I suspected when I realized this, that they are trying to go this route.

Oh, you can´t guess how i wish to meet one of them, because i don´t want to buy such a mask from my own money...
And free tools and free full contact training lessons are good, too!

Pics don't bother me but if they did I would just outsmart and out class them with a fancy cigarette case.

I know, i'm a smoker, guess what though, i pretty much ignore the graphics and the written warnings, in saying that, i do notice when a new picture comes out.

On a side note, in the UK, cigarettes etc are not allowed on display, they have to be behind shuttered doors and you have to ask for your brand by name. Also, they also used to be sold in packs of 20, now, to keep prices down to a "reasonable level" packs are now sold containing only 17 or even 16.

Go into a shop here and ask for 20 (as we always did) Benson and Hedges for example and you will be given a pack of 17. The box is the same size, who's fooling who LOL.

Today seems to be synchronity day because the tabacco and clowns was the topic today. The best thing about the clown thing is, if you engage the idiot because you try to protect yourself instead of fleeing and hurt him while defending yourself, you´re chance of getting away with it is very high, according to our local self defence laws.

Not to promote violence but they. are. asking. for. it. I can´t tell if he´s just trying to be funny or if he´s a crazy riding the train and trying to chop my head off! Although, I´m pretty sure I will never meet one and if, they will pick on someone who looks more like a victim, I hope for them.

It´s quite the opposite here. Packs are getting bigger each year. The normal 20 pack looks smallish now, if you´re used to the bigger packs, but honestly, you look like a chain smoker turning up with a fat 27 pack for 7€ (so you can compare prices). However, this lasts me nearly a week so I have my pocket case that I´ll refill daily. You really have to look close for the small packs, if you want those.

Edit: We have another one in Germany where there is a fetus out of ash in an ashtray and someone stomps out a cigarette on it. Like a smoker would do that to a real baby. It´s common knowledge that if you want to have children the safe way, to not smoke/drink/drugs. It´s getting all US here now, "Don´t microwave your child" "don´t use the razor blade as a toy" "warning: coffee is hot".

LOL, we have the coffee warning or words to that effect, like ..... Warning, contents may be hot!

You don't say, I've just ordered a Hot Coffee .........

We have not gone as far as the baby/microwave or razor blade/toy scenario as of yet. Wait!!! i thought we were all members of the EU, shouldn't all packaging and comments be the same?

I'm definitely off to research the Standard or EU Directive on this one, seems we are not equal after all

I took the time to show you this, if you don´t have it in the UK. I can only imagine what they did to the toddler on the right that he looks that way. Like waking him up in his sleep so he looks extra stressed. Unbelieveable.

Uuuuh, i am cautios with self defense, i was once sentenced because i defended myself from a drunk punk and ko´d him, followed by a nice kick in the a$$ with a sneaker. The sneaker was a weapon, in court. Btw, the guy had nothing, he went down after the first hit, i had a lucky punch. He had no injuries or similiar, but i was sentenced to one year in an open prison, in the Sauerland... xD
Ah, and i am not a trained MMA fighter or similiar, just grew up on the streets. And i gave him the famous three warnings. After his third attempt attempt to hit me, i had to finish that theatre. It was on a party in a park, and i just wanted to party without being disturbed by such an idiot. I even didn´t leave the spot, because i did nothing wrong. At least i thought so, but the law thought something other.

But you are right that nothing would happen if you hit such a clown.Watching the news, the unavoidable "experts" flooding the channels, they all say:
If somebody is shocked, or maybe even thinks that he gets robbed, then it is a normal reflex to defend yourself. So iguess if it is such a clown, it´s ok to hit em...

That whole thing makes me laugh. Thinking about people that really get a shock and run away. I mean, everybody knows that these are just little morons, and not the real, King´s Pennywise. If i would be such a clown and people would flee in panic, i would pee my pants because of laughing, so i can understand those kids a bit. I love to play pranks on people too. But i never would go for children od old people.

We had alone about 80 clown incidents in north-rhine westphalia yesterday.
But some of those clowns got their back kicked. One of them, in Berlin, was even stabbed nearly to death...
