I didn't know that happened. I also didn't realize his real name is 'Thor Man'? Now that you mention it though, how does Odin's son Thor become a woman? Did Thor have a sex change operation?

Of all of these examples you mention, along with any others you know about, how many were changed in the last 5 years versus all before that? (serious question)

That's ironic, seeing as this whole thread exists because Conservative Justice Warriors were triggered by something as petty as a comic book character. I thought conservatives prided themselves on being tough guys and "manly" men? They claim to be against being PC, then complain when someone says or does something that goes against your own conservative form of PC. All I see are a bunch of complaining snowflakes whining because times are changing and they can't handle it.

I'm not a Conservative. Not being an SJW maniac doesn't mean somebody is a conservative. SJW's aren't the center of the universe. Many other groups (and even more individuals) exist besides just PC liberals and conservatives.

I wish people would quit reading so much into these things. Marvel like many many other companies like to expand their audience occasionally. In this case, teenage girls are the market. There simply aren't that many characters for girls to choose from, especially the ones from the big-screen. I mean, you could go with Rogue (a minor character) or Phoenix (Jean Grey), but she turned evil. And with DC having a reboot of Wonder Woman, Marvel simply needed a major character to be female (teenage is a bonus since that is the demographic most sought after).

To break it down . . . it is about Marketing, not SJW BS.

I guess I'm most curious about who will be funding her.

The narrative of Iron Man was that Tony Stark had no super powers. He was just a genius billionaire who had the free time to invent and upgrade the suit, and the capital to fund the non-stop frequent and extensive repairs.

While this 15 year old girl could easily be a genius, it's not very common for someone so young to be a billionaire.
