Yes, the DoJ did grant immunity deals to certain individuals but they did not work with the FBI "hand in hand" throughout the FBI's entire investigation.

If you don't think the DoJ had any bearing upon the direction of the investigation, you're either quite naive or duplicitous.

That's quite an ambiguous statement. Define "bearing" and "direction".

Speaking of the immunity deals, Comey made specific effort to stress that the Mills' & Samuelson's immunity was limited to what might be found on the laptops; I would presume the Combetta's immunity was similarly limited. This means any information obtained outside the scope of what was in those agreements was fair game.

Ok. What does that have to do with the emails about the two women's relationship? That email shows nothing of substance, other than the two were not closely involved with one another.

I'd love to link in examples, but then you'd refuse to accept them or debate them in the focus threads, to instead derail todays new releases, as happened yesterday. But there have been plenty of damaging and brutal topic threads, (not to mention piles and piles of it in the mega thread), none of which places I've seen you post. So why bother with you? If your real goal was debate real concepts in depth, you sure dont step up in the places where it counts.

Being exposed is a narrative. One which wont likely be seen in one SINGLE little email. It's the total narrative that building up to something.

In the meantime, you can zoom in and only take each singl email into perspective individually and say there's nothing, but there's a whole lot of things so far.

I did not derail. You brought up the Morocco email in that thread as proof of some sort of dirty dealings, yet forgot to check something so basic, the date, in order to see that Hillary was not SoS at that time. You then tried to claim the "party" controls the government and other such conspiracies.

When those fell flat on it's face, you began to cry about me derailing, when it was you that brought up that particular issue. Quite embarrassing to watch.

If the date ends that discussion then go argue your case in the thread about that issue. It was up high on the front page, unchallenged, last I checked. You wouldn't.

I made it clear that my intent wasn't to make it the topic, but to show that when you apply the new emails to old ones et al into the larger scope serious stuff is coming out. That just looking at this email or that one, and then moving on isn't going to tell you much, most of the time.

Then you wanted to make that the entire subject.

Now you're saying we're taking the media collusion and PAC collusion out of context. This proves to me, something of an expert on all this (if there 'are' any yet), this proves to me you really haven't been paying attention to the entire set of highlighted emails, or if you have you'll never accept anything that could ever come forward, so once again, why bother with you?

I've been paying attention and it appears that you conflate the issue by assuming it is collusion and not general communication. Yes, there are emails that show the campaign has "friendlies" inside the media, but that is nothing new and not groundbreaking info. It's also not just the Dems doing it.

Are far as the "expert" aspect, I only have to laugh. Ignorance may not be bliss, but arrogance must be.

The ONLY reason Hillary wasn't charged of a crime is because Comey inserted his interpretation of the particular law at hand of government employees handling of classified information to have intent to prove wrongdoing. As it was eloquently brought up in a recent congressional hearing, no wording of intent is present in the law in question. It was conveniently interjected into this case and this case alone. (Side note, by her words at the town hall, she is very experienced with classified information so that is pretty clear she knew it was wrong).

So if we're talking legal, it's pretty cut and dry. I liked your statement on forming narratives to fit your own interests. The only way that would have been any wiser is if you stated you do so as well. I see it on both sides over almost every issue. This one is cut and dry though IMHO.

I am for transparency to the degree protocol and the laws are designed for. So that OUR employees may be investigated and also for FOIA.

If you don't agree I take it you didn't mind Bush and Cheney wiping the White House servers of their emails before they left.

We have seen plenty of the casings through these emails. Unfortunately our polarized country fights each other rather than demanding accountability of our employees.

You think trumps people aren't out looking for anything and everything about HRC too? Of course they are. That's how all those conspiracy theories about her wound up in his rally speeches and on the debate stage.

This is campaign strategy. Not damning at all. Shows the effort her team goes to to find dirt on trump . Shows her preparation efforts.

I don't think Trump will mind her winning, it will give him plenty of time to focus on his new media company after his 4+ billion dollars of free advertising from this election.

Seeing as he is the only person she could have beat sounds like a win win.
