Where is Julian Assange?

It should be well known by now that Ecuador has cut off Julian's internet access in the embassy. Why it was cut and who pushed for it is the topic of another thread.

In the middle of all this unfolding news, the WikiLeaks Twitter account curiously sent out three HEX strings. What those strings are and why they were released is the topic of another thread, however there is speculation that it was posted via a "dead-man's-switch" mechanism.

WikiLeaks continued to make tweets and post new leaks to their website. But where is Julian?

There are rumors going around that a raid occurred on the embassy that night and that other WikiLeaks operatives were also "visited". Others claim Julian was turned over to US officials and that Julian is now being escorted to Guantanamo via stop-over in North Carolina. Other rumors made the grand assertion that Julian has been killed.

But all I'm really trying to figure out with this thread is: Where is Julian?

Can anyone find any reports or intel that credibly assert his current location? Any proof of life?

Given that we have no reason (other than baseless speculation) to suspect that he's no longer in the Ecuadorian embassy, I'm gonna say he's still in the Ecuadorian embassy.

My theory is he slipped out the embassy disguised as Pamela Anderson as is lying low in Ecuador or another country

I am going to go out on the proverbial limb here and suggest this has all been a joke, including the hex things. Besides who really cares where that nutjob is. Quite frankly, this can go in the trash with the elections, emails, sex trash and any other cockamamie pooh going around. We have serious issues to deal with regarding warmongering and financial crisis.

As your assertion he isn't. His death/capture would be well publicized. Don't make a thread without evidence and then ask for some. Internet disruption isn't evidence.

Has the "key" broken open the Intel to be? No? He's at the embassy.

Id say given the level of speculation about his whereabouts and well being and the fact no one has just come out and flatly said hes still in the embassy and fine that its not at all baseless to suspect hes come to some sort of harm.

Thanks, that's a good and relevant report. But was there any proof that he's in there? A photo maybe?

In the spirit of conspiracy forums, im trying not to "believe" any media reports and am instead looking for proof. Photos, audio clips, PGP-signed communiques, etc.

I think Ecuador may be a little miffed with him. However I believe he is alive and in their embassy.

Usually, there would be a Twitter post from one of Julian's closest friends stating that he's in the Embassy and is OK. Has anyone seen anything like that? Last I read here on ATS, Julian was being flown to Guantanamo via Charlotte, N.C.. That was yesterday. I don't recall which thread contained that info though.

Stealing Assange to Guantanamo before the election would be such a gift to Trump that I don't believe Obama would do it.

Why in the world would he be in Guantanamo ...he hasn't broken any US laws nor is he wanted for extradition to the states afaik.

I personally believe he is in the embassy and doing just fine ....why? Pre-commitment 1, 2 & 3 of course. All the "dead man switch" talk is nonsense. Those were very obviously not-so-subtle threats to Kerry, Ecuador & the UK to leave him alone or else. In other words, he's got files on said subjects ready to release (hence already having a hex key) if anyone is foolish enough to mess with him.

My guess at the real story is that perhaps there WAS a plan for some type of raid, deal to hand him over, etc but Assange was tipped off, quickly issued the 3 hex tweets and the powers that be subsequently began to have second thoughts... then decided on "cutting" his internet as a pathetic half-ditch effort to try and give the impression they are doing something about the leaks.

I read from a different source that Ecuador was slapping him on the wrist for messing with the election in Washington, D.C. because he had been focusing on leaking e-mails about Hillary Clinton.

That's an interesting thought. Don't really see it happening though. Just because they didn't give in to any pressure to turn him over. He was meddling with other countries affairs before, but they want to give him a slap for this?

Someone could've threatened some sanctions though. Thanks for a fresh prespective.

Seem Julian was visited by ?????? whatshername, star of Baywatch and if my memory serves me correctly, also star of Debbie Does Dallas. She took Julian a meal.

Seems he was poisoned and either could not or only just, activated the dead man switch.

Also seems they decrypted the dead man switch and have taken over his identity and are now making tweets in his name.

Ecuadorean could not have severed his internet connection because he was most likely wireless anyway. Even if he was corded, it would not have taken long for his very large group of supporters to rally around fix Julian up with whatever he needed to stay on the air.

Quite clearly, Ecuador, by making this claim; is covering something up.
