I'm completely appalled at how many ATSers or 'truth-seekers' are invested in a candidate this election. Do you really think anything will change? Do you really think your candidate is not in bed with the corporatocracy? Election after election, and we haven't learned anything it seems. And this one, more than the previous ones I can remember, people really seem to actually think something is at stake here. Of course there is much at stake! But none of these candidates will help us.

Trump supporters, I am honestly blown away by the stupidity here. The guy is bad news. He may say a thing ONCE here and there to gain truth-seekers' support, and believe me that is part of his gameplan, but he's not mentioning any of the real issues. Anyone who is not talking about Federal Reserve, WorldBank IMF, Council on Foreign Relations, Bilderbergers, CIA false flag operations, proxy wars, Saudi Arabia and Israel's support of Terrorists, the neverending wars for profit, policy being dictated by corporations for bribes, Big Pharma, Big Agro, the war on drugs, etc is not your friend! Anyone who is your friend would be DRILLING these subjects. They are talking about fluff, BS issues, aside from maybe immigration and social issues depending on which way you lean religiously. You don't get this far without playing ball. And if you really want real change, you can't play ball...the whole system so far gone...we're not gonna 'play ball' our way back to greatness guys. Look at the people he is surrounding himself with; bankers, CFR members, establishment dinosaurs, Chris Christie for pete's sake. He made a point not to take visible donations from corporations so he could fool gullibles like yourselves. Wake up guys, he's not your dream candidate, he's not going to make America great again. I can't figure out if you all are latching on to him because you think it's cool or fun, or he 'really tells it like it is', or if there is some sort of mass hypnosis going on. Do you really think he would make corporations be fair again and reverse the exploitation of the people for profit? You would have been severely disappointed should be elected, but he won't, because he was never supposed to be, because Hillary has been the shoe-in from the get-go. Mark my words, she will be president. The sad part is how obvious this has always been, and how many people are in denial of it.

Hillary supporters, you guys are even worse than the Trump supporters. You obviously have NO idea what is going on if you think she has a decent bone in her body, that she cares one single iota about the American people. At least Trump supporters kind of realize what is going on and want change desperately. Hillary Rodham Clinton is the epitome of corruption, is the cause of countless deaths and wars, will make life even harder than it has been for the American people. She is the definitive enemy.

In summary, wow, just wow. Even us here at ATS, who are supposed to have somewhat of a grasp on reality, are so lost. It's disheartening. I'm not sure what it would take to wake you guys up, or if it's even possible; we seem to be more complacent and ignorant than ever before.

I have a hard time hating these supporters as they are just people and hopefully, people calm down after the elections and go back to being mostly civil. However...i hear you.

Personally, i dont have a horse in this race.

Oh no, I was so hoping for your countenance and praise. I don't think I can go on now.

It's not hate, just frustration. It seems to me things are getting worse and the war against evil might as well be deemed lost. I apologize if I came off too aggressively. It's not my intention to insult or berate anyone but I'll admit it makes me slightly angry when thinking about it or watching it happen in real time.

You'll be fine, a little logic never hurt anyone
Honestly I don't see why anyone would care what I have to say, and don't blame them for not caring, but I felt the need to say it nonetheless.

Oh believe me I get that. I wasnt intending the term "hate" as your words, i apologize for the confusion. I can see youre frustrated, i am too.

The definition of evil is in flux, as is good. We live in interesting times, but dont lose hope...

well, historically the republicans have been better at foreign policy and the democrats have been better at domestic policy, that seems to still hold true with these 2 candidates.
so, I guess the big question for me is at this time is the country more in need of good domestic policies or is it more in need of good foreign policies? you aren`t going to get both from either a democrat or a republican.

I feel the same way you do.

Watching this unfold, on ATS of all places, has me thinking I'm on crazy pills or something! I just can't fathom it. People are SO STUPID it's doing my head in. They STILL to this say buy into partisan politics, how thick are we?

No one wins this election except monied interests and the war machine. People lose, and continue to lose all the time. This world is finished and I want off, now!

I've never been so ashamed of ATS as I am now. Especially the people with multiple thousands of posts and stars now proving themselves to be no better than the average ignoramus.

I get that. And if I chose to vote for one of them it might be with that point of view in mind. I just feel there are bigger fish to fry than anything approved for discussion in these painfully obvious sham debates.

Thank you thank you thank you.

A thought that occurred to me while scratching my head about this is that alternative media, a traditionally balanced, unbiased, and anti two-party system bastion, has gone all in with either the left or right. For instance infowars used to be vehemently anti left-right paradigm, now they're full on republicans. I can't, off the top of my head, think of one single alt media outfit that hasn't taken a side, or hasn't pushed and peddled the 2-party lie. How the resistance is devolving so rapidly with all the information available to us is mind-boggling.

That's because people aren't interested in facts or logic. Cold hard, sweet logic. People want fear or hope, comfort or pain. People want emotion, none of those mere facts. We want to hear jokes and platitudes, not manifestos and pledges.

The 'conspiracy' world is now a laughing stock, hardly better than the MSN itself - I believe by design. Divide the people has ALWAYS been, and will continue to be, the best solution to a mass awakening. It works every single time, and it's pissing me right off. I'm only 27 years old and I've already seen this divide/conquer strategy about 3000 times. All 3000 times it's WORKED. People just start taking chunks out of each other and ignore the greater reality.

If the most recent debates proved anything at all it's my above point. Might as well have two suits with a black mask on and a white mask, with no features whatsoever, just a blank mask. This is the reality of it. They are shaped and made, not free, independently thinking people. They might have been at one point, but not now - it's all public relations and image management now.... Gotta' please the plebs.

Yes. It is sad how effective this strategy is. And from our perspective, I guess it's easier to lash out at each other than it is to lash out at a shadow government that has covered its tracks well(that is, covered them well enough that anyone who doesn't put concerted effort into making sense out of things is clueless).

Another tried and true tactic: controlled opposition. You know, I think back to the 2012 election, and the widespread fervent support of Ron Paul. Then I think back on how aggressively black-balled and ignored he was by the media. They never gave him a chance or the time of day. It was almost like he didn't exist. You would never hear anyone discuss him as if he stood a chance, and every time he was mentioned, a quip about his 'unelectability' was tacked on, as per the script. This made me really think he might be on our side. Now we see how far Trump has gotten. If there's anything I know, it's that he wouldn't have made it this far if he really stood a threat to the system. People are forgetting and/or denying this, and putting way to much faith in the media. Nothing he has said up to now is even remotely threatening to the system, nor does it address the deeper sinister things going on right in front of our eyes. Whether or not he knows he is controlled opposition is up for debate, but whether that is his purpose or not is obvious.

Also another tactic: Regarding the above mentioned scripted quips about unelectability, I should also point out how unknowingly influenced people are by things like this on MSM and alt media(they both do it). If they say 'unelectable', or 'racist', or 'WMDs' etc enough times about someone or something, people begin to believe it, then parrot it. This is without a doubt scripted strategy proven to work.

Ugh. Sigh

Truth seekers. Haa. Most of the 'truth' that I have found in this life seem to come with a demand. A demand to spread it.
This is where people come to do just that. Just spread it. .
Seems to me the seeking, is at minimal right now. Maybe this place will groove back together but maybe it won't . Maybe this site will go down in a flaming pyre of "I'm right" and ''No, I'm right." memes.

Hate to say it but I think it already has. ModGods have mercy on me for saying this, but it's pretty clear to me what sort of topics are welcome and not welcome here. The question is, is it possible to reach people with so many forces working against truth? I'm not sure it is. Another question, and I'm serious here, how many of these people are actually people, like you and me?! Sometimes I wonder... We know another tactic used by PTB is the liberal use of ad populum. It's been documented on other social media sites but I'll let people do their own research. Google 'astroturfing' for a start.

You couldn't be more poignant with your truth-seeker vs truth-spreader observation. That's what we are now.

I'm pretty disappointed with myself too but unfortunately, not enough people are awake enough to not vote for the red or the blue so I'm sucked in. I'm not proud of myself for it but wtf can we do?
