Couldn't agree more. I'm not sure what else it will take. It's like a tidal of wave of info and you just can't process it fast enough.
That is the impression I got when I read the email. That was my opening statement when I made the thread.
Trouble is that unfortunately there are not enough people sufficiently
interested enough to spend anytime researching who they vote for.
A few headlines is all they ever take in (and the more salacious the more
impression it seems to make) and make their judgments from that.
Most new young voters, (if they actually vote) just vote for whatever their
families have voted for before.
People on forums such as this one rightly or wrongly make up their minds
with having many things put in their way, in their faces.... but how many
of ATS members families have seen things like the links which are posted
on these boards
indeed are any of them interested in more than a
passing way?
Looking around my core family, in the recent UK referendum, the only two
interested enough to discuss research and follow were two (one daughter
and self,) the younger members were voting adamantly the opposite to us
however .... the end result was real life took over and my daughter and self
cast our votes the rest were either too busy, doing something else or forgot
and didnt get to vote
