I don't recall wikileaks ever saying anything about such a release.

But this is, apparently, about Julian's personal internet access. Not so much wikileaks.

Do you know Oliver?

Assange is just the reporter.

If the Obama admistration tries to extradite him and charge him with espionage, they better charge every news organization that also published the leaks.

And they damn well better go after Presidential candidate Trump's leakers of illegal recordings and tax records with the same vigor.

Trump's tax records aren't Top Secret Classified Information.

Don't forget all the Trump supporters that virally spread the Emails. Bunch of Republicans that act oblivious to the act of treason.

Didn't the CIA "leak" that they would be making a proportional cyber attack on russia and it's propaganda outlets?

Y'all seemed to love Wikileaks when it was Bush and Iraq in the crosshairs.

Now that it's your political religion getting hurt you guys start with your own red scare.

Pathetic really. No moral righteousness in any of you.

An open mic is an illegal recording? Since when? That would seem to cover a lot of ground.

Thing is, no one seems to know where the tax return came from.

It wa recorded without Trump's knowledge or consent that it would be released.

California law requires consent of all parties being recorded.

Seems that if he was wearing a mic he had consented to being recorded.

Justice is coming to everyone.

No one can hide from it.

The only thing that triumphs over justice is mercy.

Not lies. Not corruption.

I mentioned this in the other thread in a slightly joking manner, but in all seriousness, why doesn't he just get a pay as you go mobile broadband dongle? It's like £20 for the dongle with 2GB data, and then you just top up when the data runs out.

Unless they are actively jamming mobile signals at the embassy, which I doubt, Assange is not really cut off, he has an option.

The mic was for his appearance oitside the bus/dressing room.

While in the bus/dressing room he had a reasonable expectation of privacy.
