Ok. If you think it's gotten that bad and you have a chance at actually making a difference then I understand what you're saying.

Good luck with your revolution.

I think he works for Russia. Putin got sick of the US media telling lies and so he has his own PR...

Just my guess. .I have no idea what's what.. who is good these days.

Yeah... like this guy... remember him?

He ended up "committing suicide" at 26. Some wonder if he was murdered.

Remember this:

Swedish court upholds Assange warrant, clears way for questioning in October

Ecuador has set an Oct. 17 date for questioning Assange at its London embassy. Swedish prosecutors have said the questioning will be conducted by an Ecuadorian prosecutor.

I'm definitely going with threat to release if he's removed from the Ecuadorian embassy.

I find it ironic how persistent sweden is being on the rape charges against JA. I mean, other than the whole rape/pedo being the goto treatment for anti establishment threats, they sure seem to be pretty lax about the increase in rape at the hands of their new found citizens.

But thats probably nothing, I doubt they are doing this for any sort of ulterior motive.

WOW

I feel like I'm watching a crazy espionage movie :O (possibly a soft porn espionage movie, given Pamela Anderson has a role)

This looks like the numbers Snowden released. Shot across the bow?

I don't think it's a kill switch, but it is a warning.

I don't think we ever worked out what Snowden number tweet was did we? It appears to be the same sort of thing

Agreed... must be getting a bit sketchy for Assange to have to push back in this manner...

I still think he's fighting the effort to have Ecuador rescind his asylum....

Time will tell..

Thanks Vasa and Jack.

Hmm, I would have thought threat.
Now with the foreign office, maybe it's a deal.
But then he is an Aussie, so the FCO can't help him with shlt other than to boot him out of the UK.

The numbers are checksums of files before committing (uploading) them to a repository. It seems like they are using some type of revision control system like Subversion (SVN) or the now famous GitHub.

In security controlled systems it is sometimes necessary to publish a checksum through official channels before committing (pre-commitment) the files to a repository / server. This allows everyone who plans on accessing the files to know if they were tampered with during upload, or after upload, or at any time.
