Well, in the midst of all the insanity of the world, life still goes on. And today, a new life began. Eritrea Autumn, 7lbs. 2oz., 20" long, born at 1200 by cesarean. She's a month early, so she'll be in the NICU for a while, but she's finally opened her gorgeous blue eyes and they've already taken her off supplemental oxygen.

I thought I'd share my beautiful second grand with everyone. Hope she brings a smile to your faces too. I haven't stopped smiling yet. Blessed Be!

Oh, how wonderful! A beautiful baby! I'm so jealous! I want grandchildren!!! Can't even marry off my two kids in their 30s-this is painful but so happy for you!

Thank you all so very much! Hopefully we'll be able to hold her tomorrow and I'll get some more photos. I've already been out shopping for little pink frilly dresses...this is going to be SO much fun!!
