Clinton-Ring China with Missle Defense

A leaked email showed the known warhawk hard at work a few years back in a private meeting to her donors.

"We're going to ring China with missile defense. We're going to put more of our fleet in the area," Clinton said, according to the email. "So China, come on. You either control them, or we're going to have to defend against them."

I don't think we have a hand to play here unless North Korea lashes out. Last I knew they could barely get a rocket off of the ground.

However her more "public stance" is:

According to the leaked emails and in other paid speeches, Clinton also praised Chinese leader President Xi Jinping as a "more worldly, somewhat more experienced" politician than his predecessor Hu Jintao, and one who had worked to assert his authority over the People's Liberation Army

Make no mistake, this woman wants war.

North Korea is the main reason for these missile defenses but China's aggressive push into the Spratly Islands is threatening International Shipping and could be another reason for them.

IMO NK is Chinas problem until they come up with anything more than sabre rattling.

We don't have the right to flank China with missile defense systems to monitor their babysitting job of NK.

A missile defense around China would also protect us from North Korea. It would also protect our allies South Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Australia. It would give us a tactical advantage against a growing Chinese threat.

Maybe we should keep armed bases all over the Chinese coast.

Lots of things would give us a tactical advantage to every possible threat, doesn't mean we should do them.

Why not? Our allies in the region are being pressured by China making ridiculous claims in the South China Sea.
