It is a scare tactic I bet.
Propaganda ,
and not so covert so I doubt it.

It is a "leak" to make people paranoid.

Although I imagine they most likely have a cyber button,
kind of like the big red button but for the internet.

And if not, they should.

IMO

The Defcon thing is a website, not official.

Lol, it's a psyop on the American People.

Setting up for the digital equivalent of 9/11, pretty much what elementalgrove said.

Don't recall if it was on 4 chan or Anon that said the last and biggest ones will be released in 4-5 batches starting Nov. 1

Maybe they shouldn't have announced that

It was 4chan. I don't necessarily believe this will happen but wow those leaks must be huge if they are using this as a distraction

I wonder if the Anonymous Bill Clinton pedophile island video is true and the puppet masters would stoop to this level to distract the populous?

Looks right to me if US keeps the crap up. We haven't conquered enough countries yet and some, Turkey and Phillipines, have had enough of our BS

Ah, my mistake.

I'm not sure whom they think they're faking out with this crap.

If they actually have that, then maybe they ought to drop it sooner than Nov. 1?

There is no evidence. The principle hacker of the USA is the People's Republic of China.

This is all to fit with the Clinton campaign's narrative that insists on blaming Russia. It is nothing more than collusion.

It's all part of the protocol until Russia comes forward with undeniable 9/11 false flag proof.

Then what?

The U.S. has much more to lose than the Kremlin I believe.

Current and former officials with direct knowledge of the situation say

LOL

This is a political campaign tactic.

How many voters will fall for this one?

i only wonder if edward snowden was the patsy. maybe he was sent to russia on purpose. this year seams together a perfect picture of antipathy. the longer i watch, and cringe...the longer i wonder.
it sux how much the media controls me,
like it or not,
the scripted fate of the election year keeps a strong man guessing...
money isn't funny anymore

So they're basically going to hack our own internet before the election, before the WikiLeaks cycle can destroy the current system in hopes that we all panic and give up all our rights and beg to be thrown into a Russian war with Hillary leading the charge?

HAHAHAHA! fat chance. They're far better off leaving quietly and peacefully while they still have a chance.

Killing our internet will only wake people up further. The first thing people are going to say is false flag.

We have seen no proof any of this hacking came from Russia.
there is quite a lot, and has been for a while.

the only people denying it support russia, or trump...

I think people are more aware than the Clinton campaign thinks. Well maybe not dems. But this speaks to our aggression not Russia's. And how can a candidate wanting to make friends with Russia be bad?

Fact is I don't believe alphabet agencies give 2 cents who becomes president. They will think they can lead Trump by the nose and Hillary is already all in.

More I think...setup for false flag to blame on Russia.

I would hardly call

The U.S. government has not yet publicly named the culprit behind the DNC hack. But there seems to be widespread agreement among cybersecurity experts and professionals that the attribution belongs to Russian intelligence actors. Whether Russia hacked the DNC intending to affect the election remains unknown.

evidence.
