According to released materials from Podesta, what these leaks appear to be, are attempts at creating chaos during US elections, and their source wikileaks appears to be manipulated by the EU/UK rather than Russia. It seems like a concerted EU effort to create chaos during the US elections as a revenge for brexit against the US.

Probably that's because EU intelligence perceives brexit as a pro-US event and they believe Obama helped in the successful brexit referendum outcome. On the contrary, it seems that most old conservative british people wanted out of the EU since quite a long time.

Could you source this? It not being Russia is a big deal.

EU, intelligence is in such conditions right now that it cannot even internally talk about its own methods and capabilities, as the top officials especially politicians would be executed if they discussed about what they are able to do and how come those techniques weren't used earlier to prevent many issues including crime and terrorism.
