Well, considering Trump wasn't actually talking TO the woman at the time, only recalling an event in his past, I don't see why you're so offended. Everyone has a past, everyone...

If his skeletons can be dragged out, why not yours? Or your spouses or parents?

Let's hang everybody's dirty laundry out to dry, we may end up hating everyone from the mailman, our hairdresser, senators, cops, judges, daycare workers...the list is endless.

We all have a past, and if we ask forgiveness honestly and sincerely, it should be given.

But, by all means, continue the hate, it's obviously what you social warriors do best.

Who said I was offended or a social warrior?

Care to answer what I asked and think about what your answer means in the context of the rest of my post?

Oh hell yeah people talk like that. And from what I have been told, women's locker room talk would put men's to shame.

I think the majority of the time you you get a bunch of men together there will be some salty talk. And it will usually end up with a game of "top this" where each time it goes around the claims and exaggerations get bigger and bigger. We know 99% of it is BS and we don't care. Its just meaningless chatter. Male bonding.

Back in the day, when I had the flash and the cash, it gave me opportunities other guys might not have had. And I took those opportunities every chance I got. I had the looks, the cash, I was a musician, etc. I never forced myself on anyone. You made your move and if it was received well - good for you. If you got slapped - good for you. You win some, you lose some.

In Italy a pinch on the butt is a compliment. And that is no tiny pinch either. It is what would be called a full handed grope in this country. Its the way it is. And if a woman is offended by it she can smack the crap out of the guy. Thats how it works.

This whole controversy isn't about what Trump said or did. It is about political motives. The question I have been wondering is - can the people who sat on this tape for 11 years be considered an accomplice after the fact?

As I've stated before how many lives, through action or words, have been lost to Clinton compared to Trump.

I think you are forgetting how many lives have been lost due to GW Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and those fellas.

Dirty Wars Again. Because you REALLY need to read it. Also, you need to do some more homework. Please don't fall for all of this reality-tv stuff.

sigh

so -- I've seen this over and over. People you know, or in your area, talk like that.

Do they also order birthday cakes that are shaped like erections? Or conversely, breasts? (ALERT: I AM NOT REPEATING ANYTHING OR SAYING EITHER CANDIDATE OR ANYONE ON THIS THREAD DOES THAT! I HAVE HEARD OF IT AND SEEN IT, THAT'S ALL.)

Do they think that's funny? Because, well ---- yeah. You're known by the company you keep. Many millions of men were raised better than that....they don't want a birthday cake shaped like large breasts, or like giant erections. Many millions, on the other hand, do want that.....

sad.

what a sad, sad story this is

Well then you are talking about something other than the never-ending-war we are now watching.

If you believe the "string of deaths" stories, then you are truly lost to the MSM you so disdain.

Trump's flaws are glaring at you. There is no universe in which I would prefer him (or anyone like him) over anyone else.
The thread is about what he said on a hot mic, and how he conducts himself at every occasion.

He has no filter.....he has no decency.....
do you really think that he will suddenly "not be Trump" if he's elected?

He will still be Trump - and he will still insult "yuge" swaths of people in a soundbyte, and never ever take ownership of it. He is a jerk.
Period.
Dot com.

I understand what your saying. I'm not talking about the clinton death count by the way. I'm talking about Haiti. I'm talking about selling weapons to Saudi and in turn ISIS/extremists. I'm talking about the evidence behind pay to play.

Yes, Trump can not get out of his own way. He says mean things. Things that cause an uproar. So does Obama..and Hillary.

I laughed aloud at your closing two phrases.

Not at all the case. I know what you are saying, but you are way off.

I am a gentleman most of the time. I open doors and hold chairs and all the things that society has pretty much forgotten about. When my wife and I walk down the street, I walk on the curb side not her. I am old fashioned. That is just how it is.

Its not about being raised 'better'. Those men you are talking about are the loudest and most graphic in the locker room. I know. I have been in those locker rooms and I hear the talk. Like the kids at Catholic school everyone thinks must be angels. Uh huh... I know them too. Not angels by a long shot.

You are entitled to your opinion, but honestly I am offended at the 'raised better' remark. You don't know how I was raised or what kind of person I am. And you certainly don't know the language and behavior of the men you are referring to when there are no women around and its just the guys bragging and one upping each other.

As for cakes shaped like genitals, women generally go after that stuff more than men. My sister had her own business making cakes for many years. By far it was women who wanted that stuff more than men, especially for bachelorette parties. Men go to strip clubs and ogle women. Women go to strip clubs and jump on stage, grab guys by the junk and twerk on them like there is no tomorrow.

If this is all news to you, you need to get out more.

This thread is full of hypocrites. Freaking god how dare most of you think you are better than anyone else - Hillary supporters right in the front rows - that really paints the picture.

Do you really think that you never - not once in your life - talked without a filter? Hurt someone with your words?

If you say no - you must not be a human being because it's IMPOSSIBLE that you never hurt someone.

Now we suddenly hold presidential candidates to higher standards because they trained and prepared since the first minute of their life for this, right???

Lol.. um.. YEA! That's sort of the point. They should be held to a higher standard! Not to a lower standard. I have never.. EVER.. had the thoughts Trump has.. and have never talked like he has. So, he is a lower standard. I am intelligent, decent, fairly considerate, and would never talk like that.. and I would never consider myself fit to be POTUS. And Trump is incredibly not prepared to be POTUS. And he is a bully, our allies can't stand him, our enemies love him.. not a great choice, even if you were really being as cavalier as it's possible to be about his vulgar attitude towards women.

With a rural pub talk being the worst they were able to dig out it would make him a saint amongst them. No secret societies, abortions, GMO and big pharma buddies. Isn't it actually a relief? Maybe not for a common underinformed citizen.

Thanks you've answered my question, unfortunately it IS locker room banter for some.

Still does not make it ok.

Scary

Why is it any of your business anyways? A conversations between two people should simply be a conversation between two people unless one of them decides to bring someone elses attention to it. Who cares what they're talking about. This kind of chatter happens and it happens all the time. You'd have to live under a rock to believe it doesn't happen. It happens OFTEN. The only difference here was, someone had an open mic. Woops!

You know... I see this a lot and I figure it would make sense here.

So umm... How many copies of Shades of Grey were sold? 125 million copies worldwide. It was in the Top 10 best seller's list.

You can bet a VAST majority of it's readers were women. What does that tell ya?

Sooooo.... Let me get this straight.... Because women sometimes like to enjoy things sexually related, or because they sometimes enjoy consensual sex that might be less than "vanilla", or because they might have read a story about a non vanilla, but still consensual, sexual relationship, they should just pipe down and agree with a statement that could definitely be considered sexual battery, if actually followed through with?

"Oh it's cool, quit complaining... You read THAT book, remember? Shhhhhhhh."

Reading a book, regardless of its content, doesn't have ANYTHING to do with this "locker room banter", or how it should be received by women.

(And no, I didn't read the book)

Yes, women can be a bit racy too at times. It looks likes these didn't mind pedaling for a bit of excitement.

What about Haiti?

Haiti needs help.

Not sure why you brought that up. It's not Hillary's fault, and Donald is not capable of conjuring up a killer hurricane and annihilating nearly a thousand people. ???? But ----- we do need to address the fact (FACT) that we are experiencing a change in our global climate.

I laughed aloud at your closing two phrases.

I'm very happy to hear that. I try....I love making people laugh. Laughter is the greatest thing we have going......Glad you liked it.

Why do you think I don't get out of the house much? I've been to strip clubs -- I've been to the engagement or birthday or bachelorette parties -- It's not that I am not aware those things go on. I just find them crass

I'm glad you walk on the curb side, open doors, and show good manners. That's great. I've always appreciated men who did those things.....
BUT to connect it to locker room vulgarity as acceptable is a deflection. No. Just so much nope. Be a gent, open the door, say please and thank you, eat with your mouth closed, put your napkin on your lap, don't talk with your mouth full, don't belch or fart out loud......MANNERS. Manners.

That should be everyone.
But when people who know all of those civilized manners STILL order a cake that looks like large breasts or an erection....well, sorry. That's when we get into the realm of a real judgment of "class."

That's what I mean when I say "Raised better." It has to do with education, refinery. Educated people don't order cakes shaped like erections. Educated people are able to have intelligent and very interesting conversations without having to navigate the "frosting nipple" while they're doing it. It's just nasty. I'm happy you have manners, I truly am!

Just, now......Please..... try to think with the head that sits on your shoulders. Please.

Not at all the case. I know what you are saying, but you are way off.

Did I misinterpret what part of it was "not at all the case"?

Ok obvious deflection says you don't want to talk sense anymore.

If you truly don't know about the Clintons in Haiti, do a little research. It's old news now.

Thanks for the tip. I'll be back later then, once I've looked into it. I appreciate your suggestion, truly.

Yes. And that means I vote for my two kids, my mom, my brothers, their wives and kids, my friends and loved ones, my acquaintances, the homeless and disenfranchised, the people who...... the people.
I vote for your kids (if any), your parents, your extended fam, your loved ones......the people...

those are the people who matter to me.

I vote for all of 'you' and all of 'us' to be okay. I hope we can pull that off somehow.
