There are a lot of dumb laws out there. Here are a few from Indiana:

If any person has a puppet show, wire dancing or tumbling act in the state of Indiana and receives money for it, they will be fined $3 under the Act to Prevent Certain Immoral Practices.

Baths may not be taken between the months of October and March.

Well, at least we still don't pump our own gas. Also illegal.

Here in my city in Alberta Canada it is still technically legal to ask that upon your release from prison you be provided with a horse and a gun with one bullet so that you may ride out of town, and "thanks" to Trudeau it's legal Canada wide to have sex with animals

I knew about the horse and gun law, but how is it legal to have sex with animals? I know they've been declared sentient beings (dogs are people too), but they still cannot consent to sex ?! Wouldn't they also need to be above the age of consent too? Which I think is 16

San Francisco has some funny ones.

•Prohibits elephants from strolling down Market Street unless they are on a leash.

•It is illegal to wipe one’s car with used underwear. (I'm in trouble, lol)

•Persons classified as “ugly” may not walk down any street.

•It is illegal to pile horse manure more than six feet high on a street corner.

It is illegal to sell one's eyes in Texas.

The entire Encyclopedia Britannica is banned because it contains a formula for making beer at home.

In LeFors, Texas, it is illegal to take more than three sips of beer at a time while standing.

It is illegal for one to shoot a buffalo from the second story of a hotel.

Lol funny thread

Were they trying to keep people from doing public political speeches?

Yup. We get to sit in our nice warm cars in the winter while someone else pumps our cheap gas for us. One of the few bonuses about living in New Jersey.

How they get around animals being unable to give consent I'm not sure I read it in the news here a while ago that sex with animals has been made legal, and for the age of consent thing it's a bit weird as the age of consent is 16 until the other party is over 20 then if your over 20 the age of consent moves to 18, kinda hard to explain but hopefully you catch my drift

laws have very little to do with justice. Everything to do with imposing fines and worse as a way to make money off the sheep. It's sad.
