Russia orders all officials to fly home any relatives living abroad.

Them ordering relatives to get back home sounds foreboding to me. Is Russia just posturing here? Stirring the pot? I heard they tested 3 ICBM launches today. One from Plesetsk Cosmodrome, one from a Sub and the last one also from a K-433 sub. Is Russia preparing for war? Is World War 3 imminent?

Russia is ordering all of its officials to fly home any relatives living abroad amid heightened tensions over the prospect of global war, it has been claimed. Politicians and high-ranking figures are said to have received a warning from president Vladimir Putin to bring their loved-ones home to the 'Motherland', according to local media. It comes after Putin cancelled a planned visit to France amid a furious row over Moscow's role in the Syrian conflict and just days after it emerged the Kremlin had moved nuclear-capable missiles near to the Polish border. Former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev has also warned that the world is at a 'dangerous point' due to rising tensions between Russia and the US.

I have read several other threads with this same information, but the interesting thing is there is no mention of this on rt.com... You know they would love the views!

Interesting as soon as I posted this I found the article on RT.com.

The claim of a looming exodus of Russians was initially published by znak.com, a news website based in Yekaterinburg in the Urals. It cited five unanimous officials, who said they had been “unofficially recommended” by the Kremlin to bring home their relatives living abroad.

Students studying in foreign universities should ask for transfer to Russian universities to continue their education, the report said. Elderly relatives would have to spend their retirement in Russia rather than in the West, it added. The punishment for not following the alleged recommendation would be a stall in career.

When asked about the report, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said it was the first time he had heard about the alleged pull-out of officials’ family members.

Unfortunately, at this point, when the western countries spent 4 years in Syria arming rebels, assisting to a carnage and pointing fingers to the regime when they were as guilty as the regime.

Russia went to syria. cut the ISIS oil routes, destroyed their sources of income and a year later they are close to win that war to the regime.

Civilian casualties can be blamed on ALL the involved in that war but the russians finished the job faster and more effectively so, in all that mess who´s done the best job?

Over the past several months, there have been a number of videos released of Putin saying some pretty strong, harsh words about our government, their intentions, and his own intended response to aggression. This has been in the making for a while now; meanwhile, everyone has been riveted on the Cirque de Fubar in progress and all the accompanying drama to such a degree that this situation appears to be a more recent development and rather less worrying than it actually is. I hope it's just posturing, but my gut tells me not to hold my breath on that.

Putin is probably the most well informed world leader, he has been in power for longer than any of the major power leaders and as an ex kgb he is surely obsessed with information.

What is this he has against clinton? Because he surely has not much in favor of Trump, he most likely considers him less harmful than grandma.

What does Putin knows about grandma and her supporters that we don´t know? -Yet...

I'm afraid he is right about that. Go back a few months and listen to what Putin has been saying. He's been warning his people for a while now.

Russia, as a nation appears to have a different mind-set towards war, that is in the sense of...it wasn't so long ago that Moscow built 5000 nuclear bunkers for it's population. We have zilch.

Putin knows full well that Donald Trump is simply playing a part. He's not significant in the least to the outcome of this. He's just a decoy.

That is one of the things Putin himself has pointed out. He says our government is lying to us on a regular basis and has no intention of actually protecting us, should war become a reality. He's expressed sorrow for us, because we are helpless and vulnerable and do not understand what's actually going on. It's chilling to hear him talk about it...that detached Russian stoicism just cements the sobriety of the situation all the more firmly.

Well, this is what happens when we have a PC pansy in office with zero nuts to stand up to anyone or call them by their actual name.

Lets face it, other countries/nations don't call America the Great Satan or Evil Empire for no reason. I bet we look like the Fourth Reich to some of these people.
