The Royal Family in The Netherlands is major shareholder in the Royal Dutch Shell (one of the biggest (oil) companies in the world), how much shares the family owns no one knows, now the majority of the Dutch Parliament wants that the Royal Family also starts paying taxes on their fortune.

Shell market capitalization (all outstanding shares) = $ 300 billion

Total part of Shell by Royal Family (estimation) = 25% which could be correct since they are the biggest shareholder as is said, and it is ROYAL DUTCH Shell anyways

almanachdegotha.org...

Market price one Shell share around $ 25 (fluctuates of course day price)

Payed out dividend per year per share (average) = $ 1.65

In The Netherlands dividend is taxed for 30%

rounded ((300 x 0.25 / 25) x 1.65 x 0.3) = $ 2 billion to be paid in taxes by Royal Family.

I would think he would have to pay taxes just like the rest of the citizens.
But who am I kidding?

YES! Take Warren Buffett probably even more richer, paid every year since 1940 his income tax, as I recall correctly, and I can trust the source, 1940 is when he started his business. Trump seems to have found some kind of loophole

The Dutch managed to move power from the King or Queen to the rule of the people without a great deal of bloodshed.

At that time, a deal was struck and not taxing the Royals was a part of that complex series of agreements.

Now that you have your part of the done deal, you want to renege on theirs.

Study your history.

Oh look, they have more than me ... it isnt fair.

There is a special clause in the income tax laws of the USA called the "santa clause" that says:

paragraph 3.4. sub clause: ...Santa gets his paid income tax back through Panama connection by what ever means available...

These $ 2 billion extra for Dutch government budget should go to the Dutch Military Intelligence Secret Service (MIVD) and to the Dutch army for more personnel and equipment, because to my opinion "The Barbarians are at the Gates" = Russia, refugee tsunami from Africa and Turkey will soon open the sluice for its millions of Syrian refugees, IS related terrorists among these refugees (African and Syrian alike)
