Republicans are withdrawing their support for Donald Trump — and in a number of cases, official endorsements — in droves. Many are questioning why it took this video to get Republicans to stop supporting Donald Trump. Are we REALLY learning anything NEW about Donald Trump? No.

Here's the list from NY Daily News

1. Utah Gov. Gary Herbert
2. Rep. Jason Chaffetz of Utah
3. Rep. Chris Stewart of Utah
4. Idaho Sen. Mike Crapo
5. Sen. Kelly Ayotteof New Hampshire
6. Sen. John Thune of South Dakota
7. South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard
8. Rep. Bradley Byrneof Alabama
9. Rep. Joe Heckof Nevada
10. Alex Smith, National Chairman of College Republicans
11. Former GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina
12. Sen. Dan Sullivan of Alaska
13. Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty
14. Rep. Martha Roby of Alabama
15. Rep. Rodney Davisof Illinois
16. Rep. Ann Wagnerof Missouri
17. Sen. Mike Leeof Utah
18. Sen. Shelley Moore Capitoof West Virginia
19. Rep. Scott Garrett of New Jersey
20. Rep. Cory Gardnerof Colorado
21. Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval
22. Sen.Lisa Murkowskiof Alaska
23. Sen. Deb Fischer of Nebraska
24. Rep. Cresent Hardy of Nevada
25. Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley
26. Sen. John McCain of Arizona

Most of these Republicans are calling for Trump to step down and let somebody else take his place (Pence seems to be a popular choice). One name I can add to the list is Condoleeza Rice who also just called for Trump to step aside in her public statement.

Some of the quotes included in the NY Daily News article:

McCain:

Donald Trump's behavior this week, concluding with the disclosure of his demeaning comments about women and his boasts about sexual assaults, make it impossible to continue to offer even conditional support for his candidacy

Brian Sandoval:

This video exposed not just words but an established pattern which I find to be repulsive and unacceptable for a candidate for President of the United States.

Tim Pawlenty:

He is unsound, uninformed, unhinged and unfit to be President of the United States

Kelly Ayotte:

I'm a mom and an American first, and I cannot and will not support a candidate for president who brags about degrading and assaulting women.

What a difference a day makes. It's amazing how fast the political landscape can change.

The polls will be interesting to watch this next week. Wonder how many voters will follow the GOP leadership.

Unfortunately the modern republicans are religious nutters that do not represent authentic republicans. It is a sad state of affairs.

And they all abandoned their principles to support him yesterday.

At the end of the day, does it really matter? People are going to vote for who they want. America is headed to a steep cliff, the people will eventually stand up to its government. Maybe having the wrong person in charge will be the catalyst? All we can do is wait.

If you think conservative Christians dropping Trump won't affect this election....wanna buy a Yugo...runs great, new tires! really!!

For Trump to have any chance at all, he needs to get down on his knees and beg for forgiveness. With out Christians, women and minorities...he's done, they just don't take kindly to men talking about grabbing a womans p----y.....imagine that!

It's the moderates that will decide this election....Trump is pulling a Palin. How'ed that work out for ya?

Considering his staunch religious "morals", I'm sure he will.

None of them wanted Trump. It's all been building for some time and this was just the first best opportunity to bail. Some of them probably could care a less either way but they're doing the math and concluding that not only is it impossible for Trump to win now, any association to Trump will be toxic with enough voters that it might cost them their own elections.

And some, I assume, are good people.

Here is another list,,,

More Than 150 Republican Leaders Don’t Support Donald Trump.

This list includes leaders who have said they will not vote for Donald J. Trump, have withdrawn endorsements of him or have called for him to step down as the nominee. People shaded in blue have said they will vote for Hillary Clinton.
