Second presidential debate
Time: 9pm ET (8pm CT, 7pm MT, 6pm PT)
Moderator: Martha Raddatz, Chief Global Affairs Correspondent and Co-Anchor of "This Week," ABC
Moderator: Anderson Cooper, Anchor, CNN
Location: Washington University in St. Louis, St. Louis, MO

Submit questions and vote on questions for this debate, visit PresidentialOpenQuestions.com to participate!

The second presidential debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which half of the questions will be posed directly by citizen participants and the other half will be posed by the moderator based on topics of broad public interest as reflected in social media and other sources. The candidates will have two minutes to respond and there will be an additional minute for the moderator to facilitate further discussion. The town meeting participants will be uncommitted voters selected by the Gallup Organization.

I would like to offer this simple suggestion. Don't talk about yourself!

There are a few good questions on there. I was expecting to see a bunch of no brain low blows towards either opponent.
Instead 95% of the questions are really well thought out. Things that actually mean something to the people of the USA.
Thank you for posting this.

I was hoping for something more constructive, for example:

Bring a copy of the new book called "Ed Klein: ‘Hillary is guilty as sin’". Bright yellow cover, and just place it on the table at the next debate. And, simply wait for the right opportunity.

Extract:
Bill said, ‘I want to bushwhack Loretta,’ ” the adviser recalled. “ ‘I’m going to board her plane. What do you think?’ And I said, ‘There’s no downside for you, but she’s going to take a pounding if she’s crazy enough to let you on her plane.’

“He knew it would be a huge embarrassment to Loretta when people found out that she had talked to the husband of a woman — the presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party — who was under criminal investigation by the FBI,” the adviser continued. “But he didn’t give a damn. He wanted to intimidate Loretta and discredit [FBI Director James] Comey’s investigation of Hillary’s emails, which was giving Hillary’s campaign agita.”

Don´t let the "moderator" do the same the other moderator did in the first debate, if he does advise him to stop doing it every time.

Bring all the guns to the debate and leave the family at home.

Attack from the beginning to end of the debate, call her a liar, bring the dirty subjects, bring the rape cases, bring the mistresses and seat them in the first row.

This will inhibit grandma from doing anything, she is a woman, she will not be able to deal with a row of ex mistresses in the front row. She will be paralysed.

Speak about what you want not what the moderator wants, turn the debate into one of your rallies.

If the moderator tell you something about not complying to the rules remind him that last time you did and were harmed because of that.

Follow the Kaine plan.
Every time he is allowed to speak, ask Hillary about one of the following:
-emailgate
-Clinton Foundation
-where did the 6 billion dollars go
-bring them to heel Hillary is a racistgate
-coughing-passingoutandfallingdown-havingseizures-eyescrossed-givemeacoughdrop-needingawheelchair/gurneyeverywhereshegoesgate

Your title is What Things Could We Tell Trump In order To Help At the Debate? and your post is exclusively a public solicitation for questions for the debate.

See the disconnect?

Tell Trump to hire Patrick Stewart to fill in for him. He sounds great no matter what he says.

Imagine if the candidates could use narrators. Patrick Stewart vs. Morgan Freeman.

That isn't possible for an ego maniac like Trump.

My advice for Trump to do better at this debate...don't show up. Anything other than that will guarantee him looking foolish again.

Calm down, answer the questions, attack only when provoked, stay on point and in context.

Cheers - Dave

I guess I'll go ahead and respond to the thread title, even though the OP seems to be asking for something else.

Tips for Trump:

1) Don't interrupt so much.
2) Don't say ridiculous things like, "I think my temperament is my best quality."
3) PREPARE for the DEBATE. Rehearse answers to anticipated questions. Rehearse responses to jabs you expect to take from Hillary.
4) Please have specific answers about your various policy plans. Have these answers fully baked and rehearsed.
5) Do not ramble. Please, one subject PER response. If you must mix them, carefully bring one topic to a close before starting the next and make the transition smooth.
6) Don't let Hillary rattle you. Don't spend all your mic time defending yourself or attacking Hillary. We want to hear your actual plans for the country.

I do.
I'd tell him to call in sick.
Fake it man.

I would tell him to...

Keep your mouth shut, let her do all the talking just smile and wave. Either she will dig her own grave or she won't but by opening your mouth you look like a dirty mouth breathing fool.

I'd pay to see it.
Everybody wins. Especially the audience.
Although I might sub James Earl Jones for Patrick Stewart. Maybe...yeah...

Maybe it's time to be really useful. We can all lean from our mistakes and improve. Focus on what he could do to help America. For example: I would like to see all the enter city schools rebuild and a plan for doing that presented.

Rebuilding takes money...only way for the government to get money is taxes. Trump wants to give himself, his kids, and his rich friends a huge tax cut.

Furthermore, Trump doesn't want to rebuild our school system...he wants to privatize it.

So are you sure you really support Trump?

Trump needs to focus on the people vs the establishment message if he's going to win.
He needs to keep repeating that voting for Hillary means the status quo and no change.

In his closing speech he should also look directly into the camera and ask the audience to go onto youtube and type "watch Hilary lying for 13 minutes" but in particular, tell the audience how Hillary was against same sex marriage for decades.

I imagine that will open some people's eyes unless they are already too far gone.

I'd first have Mr. Drumpf show up with His tax returns pinned to His shirt like a kindergartner that 'may' lose the note to Parent/Guardian.

Then the first question I'd have Him ask is: "If I drop out right now, will You pay Me more than the amount We originally agreed upon"?
