They should have addressed the speculation, i agree, but the fault is equally on the media for reporting fabricrated information.

Sarah Harrison said earlier that WikiLeaks will be undertaking a multitude of activities over the next ten weeks, so hopefully Assange speaks more on that.

His situation in the Embassy has nothing to do with the US. Imo he is using it as an excuse to avoid the issues in Sweden. The false claims they made when challenging the extradition to Sweden -
* - He could end up in Gitmo - FALSE He is not an enemy combatent nor would he be under US military authority for a prosecution.
* - He could be charged with Treason - FALSE - He is not a US citizen.
* - He could face the death penalty - FALSE - No charges he faces have the death penalty as punishment.

Would he? like the lady just said the UK and swedish courts will not say he will not be handed over to the US government. I think they have done the normal people in the world a service showing us what goes on. I don't think he would get a fair trial anywhere.
