Hillary Cancels Events with Sanders Over Basement Dwellers

After that leaked audio of Hillary bashing the Sanders supporters (and Sanders Voters) the other day, Bernie Sanders expressed some concern.

Bernie Sanders has pledged support for Clinton and has actually campaigned with her.

Now it looks like the Hillary Campaign is cancelling future appearances with Sanders !

Bernie is going to campaign for Hillary "separately" ?

Hillary seems to be alienating as many voters as possible this election.

Why is that ? And why would Sanders continue his support ?

Very strange set of circumstances.

Hillary Cancels Events with Sanders Over Basement Dwellers

The Washington Examiner reports that Hillary Clinton has canceled joint appearances with her former primary opponent Sen. Bernie Sanders after Sanders admitted that it bothered him that Hillary seemed to be talking down to his supporters during a closed door fundraising affair in February, when she referred to them as basement dwellers. Sanders made the comment during an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union" Sunday


It was all too much for the thin-skinned Hillary. According to the Examiner, Hillary and Bernie were scheduled to appear together Monday. But now after his comment, Sanders will appear in Iowa and Wisconsin on Monday without Hillary. So much for the Democrats' attempt to win over Millennials with their phony public show of solidarity on the campaign trail.

No one maintains their integrity working with the Clinton's.

Maybe Bernie just earned himself a seat next to the rest of us deplorables in one of those federal death camps.

Poor Bernie. You would have thought a half century floating around American politics would have taught him a thing or two. Like the Clinton's are toxic and once on board the SS Clinton garbage barge heading to Jekyll Island there is no getting off. Just look at the suicide of Vince Foster and one can see you either get aboard or get keelhauled.

So......the college educated young are the deplorables on her side of the aisle? Ok. Maybe that's harsh. I should have said basement dwellers, I suppose.

It still leaves me with wondering about her base then. Inner city welfare recipients? Green card voters? Dead voters? Educated voters, who are fortunate enough to have basements for their kids to live in? Feminists who will not vote for the fat orange-haired guy, because he lacks requisite anatomy?

Thanks for the actual clips, BTW. I looked to see if all the kerfluffle was about the first one....which I thought was fairly mild. The second one though, tells me it was more than just a one time remark thing, and more of a strategy for the consumption of left leaners.

You appear to me to be spot on correct to the effect that the longer this campaign season goes on, the more appearances she makes, the worse HRC does with the voters and the public at large. I can only guess its because of the likeability factor, but also, the Clintons come to the game with so, so, so much baggage, that I think she just can't get any traction nor any momentum.

I'm no fan of the progressives, but I feel somewhat sorry for the Sanders supporters. They were the first real victims of this campaign, cheated by the Clinton vote stealing apparatus. But worse, they just don't really have anywhere to go at this point.

I'd guess the Bernie supporters would do best for themselves if they activily infiltrated the Dem party to change it from the inside rather than trying to beat it any other way. Four years is a short time, HRC won't be able to run again and then maybe the Bernie types can get someone they like nominated. It wouldn't be hard for them to win the next POTUS election........I'd guess the Repubs will just run Romney again......and again........and again...........and again.

Yes, and funny how she says she occupies the middle, to middle right in
this recording. She really is a chameleon, but at heart is a right wing war monger
and just panders to the left on social issues.

Her voice was very snooty, and condescending, cant write her
a fat check she is not interested. Basically, this was a window
into her inability to understand why people who work hard,
put themselves through college and cant find a job in Obama's
economy are downright angry and frustrated.

There is only one Chelsea, the rest must actually work for a living.

Hey OP, this is Sanders last, and final chance in his life to be part of "THE CIRCLE" so to speak. He's going to hang on as long as he can, how else is he going to pay for that 600k dollar summer lake home he just purchased???? Either that, or he's so deep into it, he has no choice at this point, or wind up as one of Clintons Cadavers .....

A lake house simply isn't a good enough realistic bribe to me. At best it's a cover bribe for something else to create reasonable doubt.
