democracy?
Freedom of thought?
She's free to think whatever she pleases. She hasn't been in trouble for what she thinks, but rather what she does about her thoughts.
The moment you make illegal disagreeing with majority culture or some historical concept, then you open the door to the government forbidding other things from being discussed. It's a very dangerous and slippery slope.
Yes,let's fight and address fascism in Germany, by having fascist thought and speech crime laws!!

Sounds like something you'd hear in North Korea, not a 1st world western nation

Okay then people who support this should have no problem if we put in jail people who still support the old confederacy…right?
It is not against the law to do so.

This is terribly wrong people, what the Hell is the matter with you? Thought Police.
It kinda amazes me how the holocaust is placed into some untouchable category, whereas virtually all other topics are allowed to be debated.

You sir are correct, at-least that was supposed to be the point of this thread.
Not whether what she said was "wrong or right" or "offensive".
But whether Western nations should be imprisoning people over their views in a "free and democratic" society.
And the hypocrisy of doing so considering current day calls for the extermination of yet another group, all the while condemning other nations for being "repressive regimes".

I think it was a general problem, not ATS banning any pictures from there. That would need very sophisticated algorithms ATS certainly does not apply to the pictures. I think it was a glitch, maybe try again? If you make that thread, give me a headsup please

Ok. I'm sorry. I guess the KKK should be allowed to shout nonesense outside the White House and not expect anyone to cause a fight. I mean, free speech and all that.
