More possible "fibbing" coming from Hillary from the first debate.

This is about her statements over the 2008 financial meltdown that sent shockwaves through the American society.

Has to do with the "causes".

Apparently she made it sound like the crisis was related to tax reductions, failures to invest in the Middle Class, and not enough Wall Street regulations.

The article shows otherwise, like mortgage payment failure.

Uh, Hillary, Your Hubby Caused the 2008 Recession

On the debate stage Monday night, Hillary Clinton smugly repeated the big lie that Democrats have been telling with something close to impunity since 2008.

“We had the worst financial crisis, the Great Recession, the worst since the 1930s,” said Hillary. “That was in large part because of tax policies that slashed taxes on the wealthy, failed to invest in the middle class, took their eyes off of Wall Street, and created a perfect storm.”

In fact, tax policies had almost nothing to do with the recession of 2008. What caused the market crash was the collapse of the subprime market. If that collapse had an architect-in-chief, his name was Bill Clinton. This is not a speculation. It is an easily documented fact.

Glass-Steagall's repeal is the fault of BOTH parties. Our first black President (before our current one) could not have signed that bill without help from the Republican Party.

The market has been in freefall since the 2008 pop just to keep things moving- just wait. In the next five years, inflation will catch up with us and we'll see a real recession.

And this is where we find the proof of who BOTH parties work for... not us, but their elite masters!

They both are in the pockets of special interests and lobbyists. Only the blind partisan ignoramus thinks otherwise.

And with the results they caused in the 2008 meltoff, it makes some people wonder just what the plan was all about.

I dunno ... prolly racist for me to say it, but WJC was probably more "authentically Black" than BHO.

No offense intended I hope.

How is Bill Clinton responsible for American citizens not paying their mortgage?

Well the people caused it. They are to stupid to figure out their own finances. If you make $3,000 a month but your mortgage is $2,500 you are an idiot. All your other expenses are $1,500.... People fell for it. They rack up.credit cards and so on....

Sure the bank's and government are underhanded but people should be smart enough to see it.

So it's no longer Obama's fault as has been put forward, ridiculously, but now the husband of the current candidate? Wish these guys would settle on one thing and not change it when it becomes more convenient. 2nd question. Bush had 8 years to head this off, if it was Bubba's fault, did he drop the ball?
