A bit misleading. If the Pepe meme is associated with hate or antisemitism or racism then it is ruled a hate symbol, but non hateful Pepe's are not.

Went and had a look at their website www.adl.org, an NGO whose purpose is to highlight anti-Semitism, I guess for them any publicity regardless is good

With that reasoning, even Micky Mouse can be a hate-symbol if he is drawn wearing nazi outfits enough times. This is less about hate symbols and more about slandering the alt-right.

The Anti-Defamation League is a Propaganda outlet for the State of Israel.

It's definition of Antisemitism is anything, literally anything, even remotely critical of the modern Israeli State.

So whatever the Anti-defamation league says doesn't mean much to me.
