Gunfire has been reported at the Champaign campus of the University of Illinois, according to local media. Shots were fired in an alleyway and the shooter has left the area, police say.
A gunman dressed in black stepped from behind a curtain at the front of a large lecture hall at Northern Illinois University on Thursday and shot 21 people, five of them fatally, then shot and killed himself, said university president John Peters.
Police and emergency services have been dispatched to the area of the incident. Social media users said up to nine people were wounded but law enforcement is yet to confirm the figure. Read more: sputniknews.com...

With 287 mass shootings in the US this year, it's not like they need more fuel for what ever they are planning, being it laws, regulation or gun grab.
