killer rap/hip hip/trip hop sci fi album from south africa....its amazing

i hope everyone gives this a listen.
this is the ziggurat by the constructus corporation.
this was ninja from die antwoord before he took on that character. here he was still watkin tudor jones.
this album is amazing. totally different flavor than die antwoord.

i can not get enough of this album. i think it is a masterpiece.
very hard to find item. they only pressed 3000 copies.
it is about 2.5 hours long. it came with a book with lyrics and art and such.

here it is in full.
it is about 2 people that wind up on a giant floating mall called the ziggurat. ninja does several characters.
please give it a try.
i think if you can get 10 minutes in at least when long street comes on you will be hooked.

let me know how you like long street. starts at 10 minutes.
if you like the audio you should use the mp3 extension or something because i doubt you will ever find a hard copy of it. i found one on ebay for $500

I'm torn. If it was introduced as a story with music or stories with music, it would have been easier. I listened to 20 minutes. I opened it in Youtube so I an listen to more later. But it doesn't seem to know what it wants to be. I did like listening, was just confused.

it was released with an 88 page color book with lyrics and art. i suppose that might tie it all together like lebowskis rug.

i was hooked on yolandi from the start. ninja had to grow on me. once i started researching them and especially him and his lyrics. his art. dude is very smart. very good at his craft. he took me a while to realize.

yolandi is just awesome. i have no doubt if ninja wouldnt have given her equal time they would not have blew up like they have.
the ziggurat should have been huge all over and it was tossed aside.

everything die antwoord does is catchy as hell. theyre just a good time.
its great riding music.

if youre a die antwoord fan in general i say you should also check out some of the max normal and max normal.tv stuff too.

so max normal was like a corporate rapper/motivational speaker type

Great find! Long Street is amazing and put's me in an odd chill like state. This defintely feels like one of those albums that are even better to listen to in the evening or in the early morning to get that full feel.
