I have given people the finger. They flipped me right back. I've had people give me the finger and I flipped them right back. Only insecure testosterone-heavy people physically go after someone who gave them the finger.

Honestly, if a simple sign and a guy following her to get her license has set her off this much to make it a reality show across the web. she really has issues that she should address for her own health.

Some words start tap-dancing towards the edge of being intentionally provocative of violence, and these are generally NOT covered under First Amendment speech laws. This is the 'fighting words' doctrine. If I walk into an ethnic bar, spout a bunch of cracker ass skin head crap and I get my ass beaten half to death, not only will they not be charged (usually), but I will go to jail for it instead.

It's a bit creepy for some stranger to just pull over and start calling you a #ing racist, # you etc and flip you off. You're starting to get close to verbal assault. Especially given that he was not engaging her in any form of discourse, she just stopped in the street and spun up.
