Well all political sign offend me, Trump/Pence or Hillary/Kaine should I go take pictures of all the signs in my neighborhood, post them to social media, then flip off the homeowners and then spew vulgar language at them?

Should we allow political signs in front yards where they might offend someone? Maybe there should be a law that says any political signs should be inside the home or in the back where it would be difficult for anyone in the public to see.

Do you chase women in cars when they offend you with gestures? How do we know he didn't have a prison cell prepared for her too?

Facts are the facts, chasing someone in a car, means you're a psycho.

Edit: Unless you're Liam Neeson and they kidnapped your daughter.

Best to put them in the back yard, so he can enjoy them but not trigger anyone driving by. If only he had done that, then she wouldn't have seen them and none of this would have happened. But something tells me he wanted everyone driving/walking by to see them, even if they offended. You might even say he was willingly being offensive - but expected no repercussion. Hmmmm.

That is what I really don't understand! What is so offensive about an opponent candidates sign? I have yet to see a Hillary sign, but early on I certainly was not offended by Bernie signs.

As serious as the folks who say holding up a finger deserves an ass kicking.

None would go to jail for this. As a police officer I can assure you this since there is no criminal offense in the event unless it's reapeted in the futur. Maybe and just maybe there is traffic violation: his words against her. The police officer was as professional as he could be...and patient might I add

I haven't seen the guy but hell, I wouldn't want to be her neighbour

It is still not a crime to flip someone off. Chasing someone in a car is. No matter what either of their thought processes are.

Why wasn't he arrested for committing that crime?

I didn't know he kicked her ass.

ETA: Her husband or boyfriend is a saint if she's always whining like that.

Thank you for showing a real, honest to god absolute failure to keep perspective.

Well, it wasn't just an opponents sign. There was also a "Hillary for prison" sign with bars around it.

I don't really understand all the hubbub about a finger either, so.... either everyone has a right to be offended by whatever offends them, or no one does.

did you see the sign? it's clearly meant to cause offense, imo

if I had put a sign like that in my yard and someone flicked me the bird i'd laugh my ass off.

this guy was a puss, straight up.

she's an idiot, too.

Uh, if I'm a property owner, I can put up any kind of political sign I damn well please. If it offends someone, tough sh!t.

Have ya read some of the posts on this thread? One person said they thought the cop should have shot her in the mouth. The ass kicking comment by another poster was probably one of the tamer ones.

WTF?

Something that offends someone is negated by the idea that there may be an equal amount of people who support the expression. The concept is called America. I'm offended by some of the billboards I have to drive by and my reaction to them is what separates me from an SJ warrior. I just live and let live, expressing my rights in more constructive ways.

You could say the same thing about the woman who gave the man the finger. If he was offended by it, tough - right?

Um, it's what that finger conveys. Face it, she's a classy broad.
