I'm a bit behind in this story. Can anyone tell me why they were pulled over to begin with? Was he driving or in the passenger seat?

That's no inhaler!

Meanwhile, people point guns at you tell you stop or they'll shoot, you STOP.

How many of these people are just trying to become martyrs via suicide by cops, hmmm???

Now the tendency to 'unload' on people I think stinks, but STILL, they tell you STOP you STOP.

Interesting...so she is screaming for her husband "Keith don't do it" What is she telling him not to do?

She's telling him to NOT get out of the car!

The officer gave him VERY clear instruction to drop the gun multiple times and he didn't.

To which she replies, "He doesn't have a gun he has an (inhaler), he just took his medication."

Left that part out, dincha...

I thought the daughter said he had a book? That's why we should wait to have the full disclosure.

He wasn't pulled over at all. He was in his car waiting for his son to come off the school bus. The officers were there to serve an arrest warrant on some other guy.

If you freeze the video at 1:45 to 1:48 you can see the gun.

I saw the "object" get tossed as well.

I had seen the photo in this thread yesterday and I was looking for the gun in the video, I do not see it.

This could be really big trouble for the officers involved.

The "object" gets picked up and tossed again, if you look.

The first time "it" is tossed is precisely at 1:44, we see "it" hit the ground. "It" is not tossed by the officer leaning over the body. "It" is picked up and tossed back down again a few seconds later by the officer facing the camera center screen, right at 1:54. You can see "it" fall to the ground at 1:56. Then there are two "objects" visible.

I make the distinction with "quotes" because the "objects" could be gloves for all I know.

Well, again let's await the investigation. The feds are probably the ones with the police film. As far as him having TBI, then it would be his wife's place to make sure he had no access to a gun and became a liability to others. Thus making her accountable for his death to some degree (if he did have the gun).

But as for what appears to be the gun . . . it is laying next to him until around 1:50 -1:57 (somewhere in there didn't see exact was paying more attention to video). The officer standing over him (the black officer) picks it up and unloads it (makes it safe) and then drops it back on the ground. That is the only time I saw any officers 'messing' with the gun. Although, he should not have done that. The weapon should have been kicked out of the way until investigators could properly record it.

Again, let's wait on the investigation and release of some better quality footage.

People would be shocked if ths cops on duty were searched across the country how corrupt politics really is.

Cops dont write their own policies as far as the laws they enforce. Tactical strategy is also obviously a severe problem however, cops shooting car theifs in the back running away should probably be manslaughter if we want to remain in the 21st century with human rights.

Sometimes living to fight another day for all parties is just a better judgement call. Police are not really at fault for their poor training and aptitude testing. So people need to realize where the problem actually is.

30-50 percent of cops nationwide are not qualified to handle the stress of that job, and the daily/weekly pt training is almost non existant. So some of these officers dont know if they can physically defend themselvels. Mentally certainly should also be looked at.

It does seem to confirm that he not only had a gun, but decided to exit the car with it as she screams "Keith don't do it".

I've recently heard a hypothesis that someone could use "suicide by cop" as a way to leave their family with a few million dollars in court winnings. This incident, with Keith having a TBI and seemingly purposefully acting in a way that would have a high probability of getting shot, maybe fits the hypothesis.

Man, we need to develop something that is stronger than a taser without being lethal. Some kind of brainwave EMP that can drop a person without killing them (and without dropping all of the people around them). These incidents go from non-compliance to death way to fast.

New question . . .If the guy is mentally unstable and just took his meds, why is he driving a car?

I couldn't really figure out whether she was telling him "don't do it" because her husband had pointed the gun at the officers or if she was telling him "don't do it", meaning don't get out of the car. Confusing. She seemed to be trying to make matters worse. Maybe she wanted him shot. Sorry....that wasn't a nice thing to say, but you never know. I can't figure out how a wife could hold a phone so steady when something like this is coming down.

She says, "Don't get out of the car" several times, then says "Don't do it".

A brain injury isn't the same as "mentally unstable."
