www.wforum.com...

I've stumbled upon this plane when I was surfing a Chinese forum, I don't seem to recognize it, anyone care to enlighten me?

not a clue I'm afraid. From the photograph it is not even possible to tell whether it is real, a model, or a totally faked picture, maybe that is deliberate? It might help if I could read the writing

The writing is nothing, it means look at this, how/what is it?

It doesn't quite look like a fake to me at first glance...but then again Im no expert...
What about all the writing surrounding it COWlan..what does it say??
Does it say the plane is chinese or otherwise??
Looks like a funky UCAV/UAV to me...
Maybe Intelgurl will be able to shed some light on this one...

It doesn't say its Chinese and I don't expect it to be as I haven't seen any concept even close in physical looks as this one.

The writing means what/how is it?

No no, I meant the writings around the pic..you must have ended up on that page somehow..contextual clues?

It looks sort of like one of the French UCAV prototypes. I can't find a link right now, but If I do I will post it.

Obviously a tailless aricraft, but I doubt it is a UAV since it has a sort of cockpit. What gets me is the shape of the "Rudders' on the plane. Very squarish

The quality of the pic along with no referance points makes me question its legitimacy

to me, this looks more like the Lockheed Martin F-117A than anything else.

Yeah thats what i was gonna say because of how its shaped in the front thats my guess aswell..

no way that can be an F-117. Too much curve in the front. The nose of the F-177 goes straight up at about a 30-45 degree angle until it gets to the top of the cockpit.

Trust me, I stood about 10 feet away from one at an air show

It does have a likeness to the F117, but what ever it is and if the Chinese built it, it's crap!

Im going to have to go with Astral_ice on this one. I think its Frances star shaped UCAV. I seen plans for it I think Dassault is making them.

Heres I found a picture of the one I was talking about Dassaults AVE", or "Petit DUC ''

Thats it right? Its French first Gen stealth so you can expect it to look alittle like the F-117

Absolutely not a F-117, this seems like a deltawing, those rudders also striked me as odd, and possibly as a hoax...

It does look like that Dassault stealth UAV...I'd put my money on that...

I think someone photoshoped it to make it look all fuzzy and distorted to make it look like its some classified jet pic. Heres the original.

Murcielago yeah I think thats it, The lines match up and everything. Its hard to tell scale in that picture but is that thing really small like model plane small.

Im dont speak french but "Petit" means small right?
