Charlotte 'Protests' - LIVE Links for Tonight

The crowd is all ready looking riotous. The 'protests' have claimed one life as the young man who was shot passed away today.

From the little I've watched, they have approached the police aggressively already, chants of 'F*#% the Police', and several racial comments about whites.

Further, there was an interview I saw on twitter (looked like it was from a protest leader) that claimed they were going to protest in the 'rich suburbs'. Someone else had mentioned that two people have been shot tonight (haven't verified).

Should be an interesting series of events. Hopefully the National Guard buckles down tight tonight.

Rioting... Looting... Assaulting random white people... But media wants you to think they're doing is protesting... ahhh, such a wonderful narrative being sold once again!

Now, could you imagine if there was a video released today of a bunch of white guys dragging off a black guy, beating him, stripping him naked, video taping it and laughing as they ran away.... Could you imagine what that would do in this country today? Media would have a field day... But with these videos we've seen earlier today on this site showing whites being assaulted, the media doesn't seem to want to touch it...

One of the feeds just reported a curfew is now in effect from midnight until 6am.

Odds on everyone going home at midnight?

Protestors are now demanding free housing and healthcare on the third feed posted above.

Here is my theory of what will happen tonight.

We saw the insanity last night; one guy shot, innocents beaten, cops attacked, stores looted, etc.

So the mayor and governmor have no choice due to the overwhelming violence to do things like call in the guard and issue a curfew.

Now tonight the protestors will remain peaceful, and once the curfew is attempted to be enforced, they will cry "Look at these evil police!!!! We have done nothing wrong and they are forcing us to shut down!!!"

Its so predictable.

Has anyone seen footage from last night at the Omni Hotel? Where "protestors" broke in, made it up on the roof with rocks to throw at their fellow protestors, thus, triggering this insanity?

Certainly that hotel has tight security and heavy surveillance.

Anyone find that odd?

What hotel has tight security? Protestors and police are both being smart tonight and as a result no violence. And pastors and community leaders are out in force keeping the disgruntled protestors calm tonight. Will we see any praise of that on ATS? Doubtful.

Mayor of Charlotte is marching. She was just interviewed and said that the State have the tapes now. She also said that Trump and Clinton may be visiting this weekend.

Hotels have varying state requirements to safety standards. My only point is that at the very least they have cameras and footage with which to identify the agitators, you know, the ones that threw rocks at peaceful protestors and were responsible for igniting the violence.

Who are they and why were they able to access the roof?

It's a fair question.
