So I have a big issue with the support being given towards this rally for this guy being shot. It is public record that his prior convictions are :

Previous charges

A public records search shows that Scott was convicted in April 2004 of a misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon charge in Mecklenburg County. Other charges stemming from that date were dismissed: felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, and misdemeanors assault on a child under 12, assault on a female and communicating threats.

In April 2015 in Gaston County Court, Scott was found guilty of driving while intoxicated.

In 1992, Scott was charged in Charleston County, S.C., with several different crimes on different dates, including carrying a concealed weapon (not a gun), simple assault and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He pleaded guilty to all charges.

Scott also was charged with aggravated assault in 1992 and assault with intent to kill in 1995. Both charges were reduced, but the disposition of the cases is unclear.

According to Bexar County, Texas, records, Scott was sentenced in March 2005 to 15 months in a state jail for evading arrest. In July of that year, records show, he was sentenced to seven years in prison on a conviction of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. A Texas Department of Criminal Justice spokesman said Scott completed his sentence and was released from prison in 2011.

Now why is this not even being brought to the forefront in this case? Rioting is occurring over a man with multiple felony convictions, some including minors, who should not have even had a gun in the first place. He was still participating in illegal activity, as evidenced by his possession of a gun.

The idiocy surrounding this rioting is mindblowing and can really only be happening because these rioters just want to destroy things. Criminals protesting criminals dying while doing something illegal....brilliant.

So over this BS. Sure, some of the shootings can't be justified, but this one is NOT one of those. This guy proved time and again just what a POS his is and that he contributes NOTHING to society....he was, in fact, part of the problem giving the people protesting his killing a bad name.....

This is what I'm getting.

Police (white and black officers) should not shoot armed felons with illegal firearms that are aimed at the police.

SHOCKING! MSM not reporting that he has a long history of violent felonies....imagine that. Nah...he was quietly reading a book waiting to pick up a kid....PLEASE spare me the spin.

This guy was on borrowed time with his background. It was either death by police, gang or jail. But he was likely studying a new college book in that car and taking night classes to become a child mentor and wanted to explain to the kid he was picking up why guns were bad by showing him one and explaining how they can kill....

Sounds like they been building a case against him for a long time. Lots of those charges were reduced, some were petty crimes.

Doesn't justify executing an unarmed man.

Yah, he wasn't armed.

According to the police chief and the pictures of the scene, there was a gun and there was no book. And sure a couple may have been petty crimes, but they took place in different states, so it isn't like a random department had it out for him. Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon is not exactly something to sneeze at, and the fact almost every single charge he had included a deadly weapon speaks to his character and the likelihood he had a weapon on his person.

Now show me a squeeky clean black man actually reading a book, being shot by police and I may change my opinion. This guy was neither clean, nor reading a book....he was a career criminal in and out of jail numerous times.

This is going to continue until the feds step in and create a federal police force.

State, local cops will be a thing of the past.

Imagine armed TSA agents at every street corner.

How long till the msm starts showing pics of this man in his church choir garb?

Funny how everybody bitches that our prisons are filled with men that just had a little weed but every time there is a police shooting the "victim" has double digit felonies.
Why are these "victims" not in prison?

These ignorant tools are not protesting, they're rioting, looting and burning snip down.

I'm 100% for protesting what ails our society, but this snip is out of control and I wont feel any remorse for these idiots when people start shooting them for their actions.

Protesting is fine, pillaging is not.

I have a feeling this is going to get very ugly. With an open carry State and people fearing for their lives, this has the potential to get very serious. I just pray cooler heads prevail...

Are you sure about that?

What upsets me about the riots over Keith Scott is they have taken all attention off from Terrence Crutcher. Who, IMO, was murdered by police.

Simple fact of the matter is the rioting has nothing to do with an actual cause or demonstration. It is simply stupid, angry people wanting to destroy things and using an incident to do so, regardless of if that incident has anything to do with the rioting. Mob mentality and skewed perception of events can go a long way to incite violence. Won't be long now until full scale urban guerilla style warfare happens on the streets. I would say if a couple more police shootings happen in the next week or so, justified or not, we will see a nationwide instance of rioting in multiple large cities.

Perfect for election time, though bad for Dems as most of their support would be the ones rioting in the streets.

The Pro Black SJW are so desperate they will latch on to any police shooting of a black man to advance their narrative. There is also a willful denial of the existing cultural and social dysfunction of criminal behavior that is so prevalent in the black community and how it might contribute to these shootings.

I would bet none of the people crying about these shootings can point to FIVE shootings that clearly show police just wantonly killing black men with out any provocation - meaning evading arrest, being armed, fighting back, etc and just creating a volatile situation where the police could reasonably fear for their own lives.

The OKC case and the Charlotte case will be just added to the list of cases where there is complete misrepresentation of facts. Yet this won't stop the SJW minstrels from holding up these case; facts be damned; that there is some trend in police killings and black men are walking down the street in fear of their lives.

Remember all the innocent babes in the woods, like Michael Brown. Not that they deserved to die based on prior records, but they should even be more aware of police interactions since they had previous encounters based on lawlessness.

multiple felony convictions

So, Scott was convicted of a misdemeanor 12 years ago, driving under the influence last year, charged with some other stuff 25 years ago, was convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (a felony) served his time, and was released 5 years ago.

Where are the "multiple" felony convictions? I see one, for which he served his time. So, are you saying that if a person is convicted of a felony and serve their time, their killing can be justified, even when the cops don't know who it is they're shooting or what his past history is?

Sure, some of the shootings can't be justified, but this one is NOT one of those.

Anyone been able to find out what this man's supposed "Disability" was? It is being reported all over the news but has only been said by his family with no explanation and apparently no real proof of any disability. Was he in a handicapped parking spot at the school? Was it a mental disability or physical? Anyone know?

They're so distraught that they destroy their own community and loot the Charlotte Hornets team store. A stolen replica jersey is equal justice. Funny there are no riots in Chicago with the 3,000 shootings and 500 homicides with the black-on-black crime in Obama's hometown since his reign.
