WOW fantastic creatures arnt they, truely amazing! I wonder how many secrets the great depths hold?
A more grizzly aspect is the [myth? ] that deep in the coldest depths of the oceans are human cadavers, preserved by the sheer cold, still wearing the garb of various era's in which they drown from various ships. It brings a haunting image to mind, I wonder if its true, given sharks and whales (anything likely to eat them) do not inhabit the greater depths due to pressure, just smaller weird stuff like you posted. Frankly i dont beleive its cold enough even in the depths to preserve a corpse but i could be wrong, although I think water would do damage anyway, its different to bodies preserved in ice which are essentially dry until they thaw. Yuck, im in a morbid mood tonite huh.
