Who supplies the "facts" since the party on one side of the issue is dead. I doubt we will get the unbiased facts.

These people know they are about to die and they are helping their families finincally. As soon as you disobey the lay you have comitted yourself to death. Black lives only matter when money is involved.

Oh, my gosh I just watched the video, the trigger happy female officer clearly said that the man was no showing his hands, but the video shows that the man had his arms up in the air the entire time, then the man got tazed and then after that when he fell on the floor he got shot.

What the f***

You're right he should have, but the end result of that being someone getting shot is a bit old.
Not saying this was or wasn't justified, just that say he should have just followed directions is a bit of an oversimplification.

I have watched many video's just like this one where the perp walked back to their car and either got in took off or reached in a grabbed a gun! Either way the LEO's should have tried tazers and the perp should have just listened and complied!

But, the point is, police were responding to some altercation at a location near by. The mans car broke down on the road, he leaves vehicle to possibly phone for help/not sit in a dead vehicle in the middle of opposite traffic, cop sees his vehicle approaches it, and man walks back to vehicle, and police orders him to stop?? Wtf

What crime did this 'perp' commit initially to have weapons drawn? Anyone else had police draw weapons out when standing outside of their vehicle when it breaks down?

5 seconds to reach in the window pull out a gun and shoot? It takes less than a second to pull a trigger for the cops. And you realize the cops draw their guns for anything and everything anymore right? It is gun first taser hardly even a thought even though they all have them.

With that out of the way though, yes he should have followed their commands and orders. But it shouldnt always be a death sentence.

Facts of the matter, he was not shot in cold blood, he was attempting to escape.

Yep a pastor and a father of 4 who had done nothing wrong but break down on the side of the road was trying to escape in HIS BROKE DOWN CAR with his hand up walking very slowly.

The facts are you are blind.

And there is videos where they don't do that.
The perp should have listened yes, but getting shoot needs not to be the outcome of not listening.

Why do 4 cars respond to a stalled car, sirens blaring and speeding, along with a chopper? makes no sense

These overkill, shoot first ask questions later approach is unacceptable to the American public.

I am not sure it is unacceptable to the American public...i would hazard a guess it is maybe 50% that find it unacceptable the other half seem to follow the line of "well if he had just followed instruction"...some people like the cage they are trapped in it seems, much like people who become institutionalized in prisons...

At 20 seconds in that vid does the cop in the chopper say "he looks like a bad dude"....if he did that really just goes to show how much contempt black men get from the cops....wow...

What crime did he commit that required officers to pull their guns in the first place? If a white man had broken down in the middle of the road do you honestly believe they would have acted the same way? Why, particularly, does he "look like a bad dude" as they officer in the helicopter claims? How do you know he disobeyed commands when no commands can be heard in either video?

Stop calling him a perp! He committed no crime FFS! How the hell was he a perp when he had done nothing wrong? This right here is the problem. Considered a perp on site. "Looks like a bad dude", they said. We don't know what he's done, but he MUST have done something wrong. I mean, look at him, he's black!

I'm still waiting on the video showing a black doctor being shot while fully cooperating with police...

There is a commonality in all these videos and it isn't race. It is either fighting back, not following instructions, etc. I don't believe cops can do no wrong, but nearly 100% of these cases could be prevented by simply doing what you are told.

I agree, except even that seemingly simple solution can get you killed too.

I am looking for the video (no luck so far, its been a while) of police who stop a vehicle suspected of drug trafficking. They swarm the car from all directions, guns drawn. One guy in front of the car aiming straight at the driver, one at the driver's side door and one at the passenger side door. The one on the passenger side is yelling, "Don't move!" The one on the driver's side is yelling, "Get out of the car!" AT THE SAME TIME.

Apart from the senseless loss of life, obviously, one thing that really bothers me about this is when I saw this on the news it was right after the segment about the terrorist in NY. This poor guy's truck broke down and he is dead while that #($#%$ terrorist gets relatively minor injuries.

I know its just coincidence of the days events, but damn. Something is very wrong here...

Whatever I'll call him whatever I choose to. Really don't care to look more into what he technically was all I know is he WAS NOT COMPLYING WITH LEO COMMANDS so PERP seemed fitting.

good day

Point is getting shot (from what I saw should not have happened) would not have happened had he listened.

Geez what is so hard to understand about this concept. Like it not if a cop ask you to do something (assuming your rights are not being violated) then just do it be proud and defiant and challenge said cop and things like getting shot can be more likely to happen!

BTW I already stated the cop shot pre maturely based on the video I saw.

Keep toeing the line. This was a bad shoot. Tulsa PD has said it was a bad shoot. If the cops that did it are saying it was a bad shoot. Then iy has to be a really bad shoot.

And only a moron would blame the victim and call him a perp.

Moron

"Officer Better Shelby, who fired the deadly shot that took Terence Crutcher's life, is currently on Paid Administrative Leave"

Oh, isn't that beautiful. What in the actual HELL is going on in this country? When will something be done about these murderous cops?
