BREAKING: Terror Suspect Shoots 2 Officers -In Custody -Suspicious Package Left

At least one officer has been injured and the suspect is in custody following a shooting in Linden, New Jersey.
It is not yet known whether the incident is related to this weekend’s bombing in the neighboring city of Elizabeth.
A police k-9 has been requested to the scene after a suspicious package was discovered.
Terror suspect Ahmad Rahami is now in police custody after shooting an officer In New Jersey.

Different reports on whether it was one or two officers shot in Linden NJ. Police have Ahmed in custody. K9 units are on scene as a suspicious package was left.

Police have arrested Ahmad Rahami, wanted in connection with the bombings in Elizabeth, New Jersey and the Manhattan neighborhood of Chelsea, after a shoot-out in Linden, New Jersey.
Two officers were reported injured, one struck by a car and another by gunfire, after they responded to reports of a suspect shooting at passing cars in Linden, a city just south of Elizabeth

From RT, they also have a picture of the suspected on the ground in handcuffs

No. Report came in that a person was shooting at cars, police responded and there was a shootout.

Yeah, but keep in mind this is not a terrorist act and, according to Obama's press conference that's going on right now, none of the things that have been happening are connected. Pipe bombs and slashers shouting "Allah" are just an every day thing ya know.
Never mind ISIS has taken credit and are threatening to target historical sites...... Nothing to see here.

Obama is very transparent.

If this is the best ISIS can do inside the US, then its not very significant. Pressure cookers and pipe bombs isnt very sophisticated.

I am not convinced yet that this isn't a stage show setup to alter the political climate. If his apartment is full of pipe bombs and explosives I'm going to say its a setup.

It appears he wasn't the only one. 5 were arrested last night only a short time after the train station bomb was discovered. In my other thread(below), there were rumors on twitter that 7 people total were arrested.

Let's just wait and see if they call it a 'lone wolf' because it looks a lot more like a terror cell.

If a terrorist organization wants to pull off a main event(s), the first thing to do would be to set up a lot of small events away from the location of the main event. They would set up distractions using up police and EMT resources. I think we have seen in the past that these terrorists use test runs to examine response timing and vulnerabilities. Unfortunately, this is a type of guerrilla warfare that the terrorists are well experienced in, in their own countries and they will see the organized system here as the weakest point and exploit it.

Union County & Linden police departments have apprehended the primary/secondary suspects involved in recent bombing attempts in our area.

I'm assuming they are talking about the 5 others last night. They are supposedly family members and had a cache of weapons and were heading to JFK airport. Eyewitness reports say that up to 30 law enforcement units had their vehicle surrounded.
