Nostradamus Quatrains 10/72, 3/34, & 10/10

Quatrain 10/72
"In the year 1999 and seven months
From the sky will come a great and frightening king
To revive the great King of Mongolians
Before and after, Mars reigns in good time."

There is NO DOUBT about the date!
Anyone want to guess who was elected in November 1999 and later had the actions (of invading as opposed to defending) reminisent of Genghis Khan?

Quatrain 3/34
"At the eclipse of the sun
The monster will appear in broad daylight
Interpretations will differ
NONE will have forcast the great cost."

The Total eclipse over Europe (from where predictions were made) of August 11, 1999 is fortold as a precursor to the appearance of the monster. It seems that the monstrous one will not at first be seriously as he should be, but the consequences of his manifestation will be greater than anyone including Notradamus himself has predicted.

Quatrain 10/10
"Stained with murder and terrible adultries
A great enemy of ALL mankind
He will be WORSE than any of his male forebears
In steel, fire, water, bloody, and inhuman."

A great enemy of all mankind he obviously causes a GLOBAL problem that affects all who walk the earth.

at teh time Nostradamus was born, the first month of the calendar was already adjusted to being January, therefore, the quatrain is one of those misses.

If a man prophecy is published in 1555 and he dates "IT" to happen in the later part of 1999, I'll cut him some slack.

well that is the problem, you read way to much into these. They are so incredibly vague and you are cutting himself some more slack. That is like me saying your weewee is 2 inches long, and you saying no its 6, but you were within 4 inches so you must be a psychic... okay, maybe its not like that at all, but still, way too much slack on your part!

Okay then, let us cut him some slack, 65 months of slack, to wit:

In the year 1999 and seven months
From the sky will come a great and frightening king

I admit I do not read every piece of news, so perhaps you can tell me who within the last 65 months came a great and frightening king that is relevant in any way to the great Khan's lineage?

If there is no doubt about that date, which is July 1999, then what have we all missed, and how does this translate into November 1999?

When within the last 65 months, did an eclipse marked by a proverbial monster come to be, and how does it apply to November 1999?

I don't know of any other great and frightening Kings who came to power towards the end of 1999? How would someone from the 1500's describe a "live image" that appears around the world on TV screens? It would seem like he traveled through thin air and from the sky. I'm not asking you to believe, I'm asking you to mark this point in history. Ask the rest of the world what they thought of his 2004 "Dictate Freedom" Speech? Our closest alies, English, can't believe it. The only thing missing was his "Bring it on!"

Another consideration is exactly what he meant by 'Seven months'.

September (Septem - Latin for seven) was the original seventh month.
July and August were added in honour of Julius Caesar and Caesar Augustus (Octavian) between June and September.

Who was elected in 1999?

You get three separate quatrains and put them together as if they were all refering to the same thing..... why?....

that first, second the following happened in 1999.

Are you trying to say Bush came to power in 1999? If so you're badly mistaken. Bush wasn't elected until November 2000 and didn't become president until January 2001.

If that's not whom you speak of then what are you talking about? I find this thread as enigmatic as the quatrains themselves...

These are three that most (past and present scholars) believe deal with the appearance of "an" antichrist.

No, it's not touchy subject...it's just been posted here before and per rules and regulations, no repeat posts to keep clutter down.

Stick to the Bible, its never been wrong. For example, In Isaiah 13, it prophecies the current war in Iraq...the outcome which will happen soon will be a nuke or more than one nuke will go off in Iraq making it identical to the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Iraq will never be inhabited again...US forces will pull out soon and invade another country. There are tons of prophecies that are coming true...the most obvious to me is the 'Mark Of The Beast prophecy in Revelation 13: 16-18, 16:2, 20:4...which is clearly a modern day Microchip Implant which will enslave any who take it....do a search on google for 'microchip implant' or 'mark of the beast' etc.

I like to read and try and decode the Nostradamus predictions, but I am really confused. Fourth_horseman, who is it you are talking about that was elected in November 1999?

There's that one quatrain about MABUS. Some people think it's Bush and Osama

He actually wrote September month, July is a wrong interpretation that has been used for years. September month is what he wrote, not July. In the calendar he used September was the 7th month of the year, so many scholars have unfortunately translated it (especially in English) as being July, but he actually wrote September month.

So he actually wrote September month in the year 1999.


Now, understand that in his epistles and letters he was very detailed in stating that the quatrains are encoded and are also largely in anagrams and are also often reversed. This was because of the Inquisition (he would have been burned at the stake and had already been tortured by the church as a young man for early writings that were not encoded).............

Mainly specific names that are given are in anagram form, and pretty much if a specific date is given it is most likely in reverse order or scrambled order. All quatrains are written in encoded form. This comes from his own letters and notes.

Therefore, he wrote September month 1999, which becomes 9-1999. If we assume September month as simply being September 1st, since he didn't give a day (9-1-1999) =

9-1-1 =
9-11

Now, let us break down what is stated in the quatrain, because this is how he said the quatrains were encoded mainly in two different parts in each quatrain such as say time and place and the meaning, then both parts of the quatrain must match into each other through some code...........

"From the sky will come the Great King of Terror"

As George W. Bush says, "The War On Terror" - it is obviously GW Bush (which is a very direct name code given as Mabus by Nostradamus) that is The Great King of Terror. "From the sky" means the airplanes that came from the sky and crashed into the World Trade Center on 9-11.

Now, back to the first part 1999, we take out the 9-1 as above and we have 999. Reverse it as above and we get 666.

So basically, from the sky (hijacked airliners) will come the War On Terror King (GW Bush 666 - AKA Mabus) on September 11th. It is a pretty obvious quatrain.
