That's actually true. As backward as it sounds.

Trump is not a politician. Hillary is an experienced politician. As such she is expected to act like an experienced politician. Experience is not always a plus.

For example: if I am driving a truck with a CDL, I am considered a professional. Someone driving with a class D (normal drivers license) is not. If there is an accident, the first person the police look at is me. The first person the lawyers look at is me. The first person the courts look at is me. The first person the insurance companies look at is me. I am the professional, and I am held to a higher standard... as it should be.

That doesn't mean Trump gets a bye. He is expected to conduct himself in a professional manner as well, just not to the same extent as Hillary. He can be forgiven for using the inappropriate word from time to time; she should know better. Since she is big into enforcing Political Correctness, she even more so should be careful with her own wording.

Someone above posted that she had publicly expressed regret at her use of words. I'll give her that. Good show.

How Hill people keep harping on stuff like you're doing there is about as absurd as The Hillary's Campaign Against US Citizens (CAUC) is desperate.

Let's get back to the facts here, shall we?

Clinton did not categorize ALL Trump supporters as deplorable, irredeemable, racist, sexist, homophobic, etc.

In point of fact, she did three things: she stated, last night, as well as today, that she was grossly generalizing in her comments. If she were on ATS, she'd probably have used the word "hyperbole" as that seems to be one of our favorites.

(Can anyone think of even once that Trump has given a context for any of his blatherings? I can't.)

The second thing she did was to make a clear distinction between "racists, sexist, homophobes" etc. and those Trump supporters who are just normal hard working Americans who want change.

And of course, the third thing she said, calling out the well-known Trump supporters who ARE racist, sexist, etc., while true to some extent, is (as she said) gross generalization. It's political theatre. It's raw meat tossed to the crowd.

If you're going to make the case that Mr. Trump is often misquoted and misunderstood, at least, take a moment to critique Clinton for what she said, not what you want to twist it into.
