You're going to open a bookstore?????? How awesome! I will always prefer an actual book with paper over an electronic one any day! I always wanted to open a second hand bookshop. Most of my books are second hand. We used to have a gorgeous second hand bookstore here in town years ago. It had two floors filled with every kind of book imaginable. You could also trade in books for credit. They had hanging plants in there which was so pretty and windows with sunlight streaming in. They also sold bookmarks and those book plates. I sure do miss that place.

Well that was 50 years ago, and fishin buddies did that kind of stuff for each other. They would never allow this to be done now. A child running along side a train to jump on? Not in California. A little kid driving the cement train? I dont think so. Those were different times

yeah, we used ta jump the trains from a berm along the tracks. lookin back, we weren't that bright.

I never tried jumping on a train as a kid. I played a lot in the woods across the street with a running brook and plenty of trees and hunted for salamanders. The first time I ever found one I was in awe. I thought it was the coolest little creature ever. LOL I'd pick it up and hold it for a bit and then let it go. It was like my own little wonder land, my own little world of peace and tranquility. I pretended I was on another planet. LOL

Played in the park a lot and back then they had games and the typical park stuff. Most of my friends were boys in my neighborhood so we played some ball games and rode bikes and what-not. One of my Brothers got pissed off when another one of our friends let me in their tree house. It was supposed to be 'no girls allowed. LOL


In the Winters I would pretend that I was on a planet where it was always cold and snowed. I guess I had a thing for planets back then.

Me too. It can greatly alter over the course of the night too. But ultimately things tend to get better.
